The positive dog training world lost a great yesterday.

As pet parents, you may never have heard of her, but rest assured she has influenced us greatly and she has likely influenced most other positive trainers you have worked with over the past 25 years.

We never had the opportunity to meet Karen Pryor, but her writings, teachings & approaches have had such importance to us and thousands of other trainers.

Positive reinforcement training and clicker training would not be what it is today with out her. She was truly one of the pioneers (THE pioneer in our mind) in shaping what modern positive dog training has become.

Thank you Karen Pryor for what you have given us & may you rest peacefully.

Sue said goodbye to her Jinx yesterday. Many of you knew Jinx, as she had happily served as our amazing demo dog for countless numbers of Nosework class orientations over the years.

Sue & Jinx were a loving and accomplished team in the sport of Nosework as well as many other sports. They had a fun & wonderful life together for sure!

All our love goes out to Sue. Jinxy, you will be missed; may you rest peacefully 🤍🤍.

The dogs you see “everywhere” & enjoying it are a small part of the dog population. Most dogs fit into the “dog selective” category. This is normal. And this is ok. 😊

Please learn to accept your dog-selective dog for who they are & don’t force situations that cause conflict, stress or problems.
