💚A BIG shout out to Girl Scout Troop 37181!💚

The girls constructed feral cat houses as part of their project towards earning their Bronze award, and the timing with the cold weather arriving couldn’t be better!

We are putting them to use tonight, and they will be keeping feral kitties safe during the extreme temps that are on the way. 🐾

🎉 Welcome Chase to the AWLFC family! 🐾 This adorable 9-year-old Yorkie mix was found as a stray before ending up in the shelter. In his AWLFC foster home, he is already showing his amazing foster family that he’s small in size but big in personality! 💕 We’re still getting to know sweet Chase, so stay tuned for updates. 🐶

Trevor is a 3-year-old boy that loves to leap after a rainbow string or plastic toy springs. Then he settles down for some petting. He particularly likes chin rubs, purring loudly and eventually rolling onto his back. He can startle if you move too quickly and can be a little shy to start, but he warms up quickly. He's available for adoption. Come and meet him today from noon-2 p.m. at the AWLFC (1202 East Patrick St., Frederick).

Please join us in welcoming sweet Lola to the AWLFC family! 💕 This 17-year-old super senior was surrendered by her owner through no fault of her own. She’s now settling into her amazing foster home, and we’re getting to know her better. So far, Lola has been a sweet and loving senior lady! 🐾💖

These two fun, sweet boys are still looking for their forever home. Maverick and Goose are still searching for the right home that will be their permanent station. They are bonded brothers approximately 6 months old. Maverick continues to be the chatty one but Goose doesn't mind. Come see them tomorrow, Sunday, Jan 12 from 12-2 at the adoption center.
