Hello AATP families! It looks like more ice & snow headed our way Saturday through Wednesday. For my vacation families, I take my time in the snow. I will adjust my schedule, but I'll be there. When we get ice storms, I will adjust feeding & potty schedules. Look, it is just not safe to be on the roads when it's icy. So, I will make sure your pets are fed & pottied before it hits. If it's unsafe to drive back for a final potty break, you can be sure I will clean up any accidents your dogs may have. It is more important that your pets get fed/pottied at a different time than not at all. No vehicle does well on ice. I appreciate your understanding.
If you are scheduled for overnights, I switch it around. London gets fed/pottied earlier & I go back to my overnight earlier. I did this with the last snow a couple of weeks ago. We all survived just fine. 🙂

This was shared in Everything Frederick. Great post! I personally have used VetUrgency & Mountain View for London. Very reasonable for ER situations. You will always know what you're spending as you go along. Not pushy either.
I have used Partners for a few of my pet sit pets. Similar in pricing/methods to the others. All positive experiences.

Hello AATP families! Just a reminder that I am SOLD OUT for the Thanksgiving holiday 12/26-12/1. I am also SOLD OUT for overnights 12/20 thru 12/31. I will update other sold out dates later. Hello my AATP families! This post will be semi long. I have been an independent pet sitter in the Frederick area for 16 years. During this entire time, I have not raised my rates. So, this post is about changes that I need to make in order to keep pet sitting. My rates/changes will still be competitive/lower than most. So, here we go. All changes will begin on September 1, 2024. IF you already have dates booked for after 9/1, your original rates will still be honored.

1. All visits (both daily & vacation visits) will increase by $2/visit.
2. Overnights will increase by $10/night. Overnights include ONE midday visit. Any additional visits during the day will be charged a daily visit rate.
3. Holiday Rates--This is new for me. But, the rate will still be more than fair. The rate will be an additional $10/day flat rate. Overnights will also be charged a $10/day flat rate.
HOLIDAYS: New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.

AREAS SERVED: This has changed as well. It does NOT impact current pet families.
** I will no longer be taking on new pet families in the Ijamsville/Monrovia/Urbana areas.
I will continue to serve in New Market, Walkersville, City of Frederick (21701, 21702 21703), Middletown, Jefferson & areas in between.
Unfortunately, I cannot take sits in downtown Frederick unless the pet family has parking on site.

I appreciate & love all of my pet families. I will continue the practice of no extra charge for multiple pets, multiple kitty litter boxes & oral medication administration. I DO charge extra for administering injections. That fee is $15/injection.

Cancelation Policy--I am still working on this and will have policies determined by this weekend.

Helloooo AATP family! I just wanted to update that London's surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, January 24th. ALL donations will be used toward her surgery and post-op care. This process has been humbling to say the least. We are very grateful for all of the donations, words of love and all of the good mojo juju/prayers sent London's way. Her surgery will be at VRA (Veterinary Referral Associates) in Gaithersburg, MD.

Hellooo my AATP families! I am posting some 2024 sold out dates. If you already know your vacation dates, PLEASE get them to me. Even if tentative. Especially if overnights are needed. I already know I'm sold out for overnights for the following dates:
