We are now accepting resumes for a Veterinary Technician/Assistant. We are a well equipped veterinary practice with digital radiograph, ultrasound, and in house lab. The position would be mostly small animal oriented with the potential for large animal. Large animal experience is not required. Would like experience in but not limited to venipuncture, dental cleanings, running in house lab, nursing care, radiographs, monitoring anesthesia, and dealing with the public. We have a family atmosphere and are hoping for someone with great people skills to add to the dynamic. Employees are valued and would like to hire someone for long term employment. Johnsongrass Toxicity for Livestock

Toxins:
Prussic acid (cyanide) and nitrates.

Symptoms:
Salivation, labored breathing, tremors or convulsion, death.

Prevention:
Use appropriate stocking rate.
DO NOT graze Johnsongrass infested pastures when plants are...
- drought stressed or receive rain after drought
- after heavy nitrogen fertilization
- after a recent frost.

Johnsongrass Identification
- Large triangular seedhead
- Broad leaf blades, white mid-rib
- Often has brown spots on leaves

The working horse never gets enough credit...

No there won’t ever be any buckles or earnings attached to her name

She’s probably never stepped foot in a fancy LQ trailer, nor has she slept in a warm bedded down stall.

But she’s a horse that gives her heart every single day till the jobs done.

A horse that’s been working for 7 hours but still gives everything to catch that last cow.

Without her the beef on your table wouldn’t be there.

Don’t forget to give credit to the working horse.
