We have decided to talk about staff animals once a month. We may have a lot of animals, but we’d eventually run out of animals to introduce.

Today on meet the animals behind the staff we have Goose ! Goose’s mom is Sydney who currently works in the back with the assistants . She’s in school currently to become a vet tech ✨ .
Goose is a senior who just got adopted in August of last year. He came into the shelter as a stray. Because he was a senior when she adopted he was free but the amount of joy he brings is priceless. Although he may be a senior he has energy like a kitten . Like any other good boy he loves his treats . We are very happy his mom found him 🐾.

With winter weather here it’s always important to look after your dogs paws .
Winter weather can pose a few risks for your dog’s well-being, mainly their paws .
Snow/ice can put your dog at risk for frostbite, drying out their paw pads, and leaving the skin chapped and cracked .
Not only are elements dangerous, sidewalk sale and chemicals can cause chemical burns on their paw pads or even indigestion if your dog tries to lick it off . Here are some ways you can protect your pets paws from the winter worries .

-Boots ! Who doesn’t look cute in boots ?
-Paw balm or petroleum jelly based products .
-Wipe your dogs paw after coming inside from a walk.
-Shovel a path in your yard to help your dog find its way.

It’s time for the pets behind the staff ! Meet sweet Lucy lu 🥰. Her momma would be our office manger Sheri . She’s 5 years old and she’s just the biggest love bug you’ll ever meet. She enjoys sleeping next to her mom . However she is the boss when it comes to her siblings! As you can see in the first picture she was catching some shut eye on vacation 🏝️🐾🥰.
