Adoptable WATTINGER here hoping you are planning on joining us this Saturday for an adoption event!

We have about 1️⃣5️⃣ puppies who will be on site looking for homes this Saturday at Petsmart Stafford Marketplace! With so many more on the way behind them needing rescue and foster placement, and potential snow on Sunday that will likely change our Sunday plans, we are hoping beyond hope that their families are out there and ready to come meet them this Saturday!

We will have lots of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens on site hoping to find their families! Check them all out at www.sfcva.org. Submitting an application in advance is recommended, but not required to attend. Here is our expected lineup:

Thank you all for such a great year in 2024, we couldn’t have made it without you! We love seeing all your precious babies and we look forward to making them beautiful again this year and meeting new fur baby clients as well.

We are making an emergency transport run this morning to pick up a parvo positive pup from one of our shelter partners in Southwest VA- the 116th dog/puppy we will have treated this year alone!

At a weight under 7 lbs, time is of the essence to get treatment started before it’s too late to save her life.

Thanks to David for agreeing to do this early morning transport!

SABETHA is just one of our pups who will be looking for a home this weekend! She and her sister Alosha, also available for adoption, came to us a while back, extremely thin and undersocialized after years of living in a minor hoarding situation. Thanks to some grooming assistance from Handsome Hound Pet Grooming and TLC in foster care, these ladies are now doing and looking much better and are ready for new families.

We are busy getting ready for this weekend’s open adoption events- come one, come all! We have puppies, dogs, cats and kittens all looking for homes. Come out and see us Saturday or Sunday- or even both!

BANANA is done nursing her puppies, and is looking for a new home! She is an adorable little lady who has been in foster with children and other dogs, and done well across the board. Not much of that typical chi chi attitude here!

Run over to www.sfcva.org to put in an application today! Banana is being spayed this morning and will be ready to go to her new family later this week. 🐾
