Oh gosh, it's Cat World Domination Day! Everyone give your cats extra treats today - either we can buy them off or at least buy some favor if they do remember to take over the world. Our office manager's cat, Cotton, is dressed and ready for the event!
The lack of rain and the high heat over the next few days mean both people and animals are going to have a rough time. Check on your friends and family, put water out for birds and wildlife and don't leave your pets in a hot car. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and stay inside if you can!

Animal Behavior Wellness Center is looking for dogs to enroll in a clinical trial investigating an oral behavioral support supplement in dogs with separation anxiety Please share!
Does your dog tremble, vocalize, pant excessively, or become destructive when you leave the house? Has your dog been diagnosed with separation anxiety? If you answered “yes” to either of these questions, please contact us about enrollment in our double-blinded, placebo controlled, fully funded clinical study. This is a completely remote study, so you don’t have to worry about bringing your dog into the clinic. During the 30 day study, your dog will receive either a placebo or an oral behavioral support supplement. When you leave home (for example, to go to work) your dog will be evaluated via a 20 minute video, using a provided web cam.
Your participation is confidential, and you will be compensated for your time. At the conclusion of the study, regardless of the test group to which you’re assigned, you will also receive 3 FREE months of a nutritional behavioral support supplement.

As Dr. Laura is out on maternity leave, there will be a change in Hospital hours. With the Gracious help of our relief doctors, Dr. Bodycott, Dr Vergette, and Dr. Donoff the clinic will be open Feb 17th through March 30th Tuesday through Fridays 9 am to 5 pm.
Starting April 1st to April 12th, the Clinic will be open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm and Wednesdays from 9 am to 12/noon.

On the 10th day of Cake-mas, my true love gave to me: ten lords a-leaping! Actually, it was just Cake leaping on his big brother, Oliver. But it's still too cute!
This week we are highlighting our patient, Cassidy! She was found with a crushed right hind foot, but was taken in by the most caring family. They have been bandaging her foot regularly and bringing her in for regular treatments with our therapy laser. Thanks to her owner's diligent care and the regular therapy laser sessions, her skin has grown back on her foot! Check out our video to follow her progress:
