We love every pet that walks through our doors. They are individuals and we tailor our care to meet their specific needs and to work within your budget. We offer hi-tech diagnostics and alternative therapies, but we are also grounded in practical medicine. Two pets may have the same illness, but their needs could be very different. Some pets recuperate peacefully in the hospital, while others are

more comfortable in their own home. We have a passion for homeless and disadvantage pets. Our hospital provides low-cost veterinary care to several local rescue groups, like Cause 4 Paws. We also have a charity, called Ellie’s Fund, that was established to give financial aid to pets in need. No matter who we are working with, patient care is our #1 priority and our heart is in everything we do.

✨We are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our team, Dr. Craig Proietti!✨

~ Dr. Proietti completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida and earned his veterinary degree from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. With a decade of experience in emergency veterinary medicine, Dr. Proietti brings a wealth of skill and expertise to our practice. He has a particular interest in cardiology and is always eager to expand his knowledge in the field.

When he's not caring for animals, Dr. Proietti enjoys spending time outdoors with his two adorable pups, Maggie and Gator. Whether hiking, kayaking, or traveling, he makes the most of his time off, embracing the beauty of nature.

We are also excited to announce that with Dr. Proietti joining our team, we will now offer walk-in hours! Starting September 4th, our doors will be open for walk-ins every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday between the hours of 9a-12:30p & 2:30p-6:30p. Pets will be seen on a first come, first serve, triage basis.

🌟 Exciting News from Lee's Hill Pet Hospital! 🌟

After 25 incredible years of dedicated service, Dr. Sharon Kensek is passing the torch of Lee's Hill Pet Hospital to someone who shares her passion for animal care and community outreach. We are thrilled to announce that David and Maddie Maitland, founders of Compassion Animal Rescue, are the new owners of Lee's Hill Pet Hospital!

The Maitland's journey began 30 years ago when they founded Dominion Steel Inc, in Fredericksburg, VA. Eventually, their hearts led them to rescue countless animals by founding Compassion Animal Rescue. Now, their next dream has come true—owning a veterinary hospital right across the street from their rescue! This natural collaboration brings new energy and fresh perspectives to our practice.

David and Maddie are committed to upholding the core values that have always been at the heart of Lee's Hill Pet Hospital. Just as we treated their beloved pets and rescue animals, they will treat every pet with the same love, care, and respect.

The Maitlands, Dr. Kensek, Dr. Bond, and the support staff are excited to continue serving our community and making a positive impact on the lives of pets and their families.

In other exciting news, we are thrilled to welcome our newest Veterinarian, Dr. Proietti! With his strong background in Emergency Veterinary Medicine, we cannot wait to implement some exciting changes coming very soon!

💦💧HAPPY NATIONAL HYDRATION DAY 💦💧

Boy if it isn’t a good day for it! Stay cool out there friends. Remember, it takes only 30 MINUTES or less for your pet to go into a heat stroke. Lots of shade and water is key! Days that are this hot keeping them cool inside is best!☀️💧

✨ Make sure you’re offering your baby fresh clean water to prevent them drinking from water puddles or any other bodies of water than can be contaminated with ”Lepto virus”. It is never a good idea to suggest or offer your fur baby ANY water that looks dirty or is from a puddle, planter, or any body of water🦠🚫
