Momma Mosh wants all of your attention! She would do best in a home with no other cats so she’s guaranteed to get it. She does get a long with other cats but she can be a little timid at first.

Hello! I am Gabby . I love to talk to you when you call my name. I am about a year old, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and FIV/FeLV negative. I have been with a foster family for a few months now. They have a big dog that I get along with really well and I have tried to fit in with the cats that live here but a couple of them really don't like me. I don't know why they don't like me since I have never been aggressive towards them. If you would like to adopt me please fill out our online adoption application and we will be in touch.

We will be open today from 4-7pm for visits. Please do not bring cats to drop off. You must call the shelter phone at 330-377-4026 for intakes. We can’t always take them, but we do our best.
We also are not a vet clinic, so please do not bring sick or injured animals. They need to be seen by a vet.

We will be open tomorrow (Sunday, May 26th) for visits between 4pm-7pm.
Adoptions must be approved before a cat can go home. We do not have dogs. No drop-offs.

Adoption fees:
Kittens under 1 year - $100
Adult cats 1-7 yrs - $75

Just a reminder to everyone, we are not a vet clinic and do not have a vet in the building. We cannot take sick or injured animals. If your pet has a medical emergency you need to take them to an emergency vet or call a vet clinic and see if they can take an emergency. If you find a sick or injured cat, we can try to get it into a vet but cannot guarantee anything. If you find a dog please contact the Dog Warden's Department.

This pretty girl is Henna🌺. She has been through a lot but she’s now ready to find an inside forever home. We don’t know her exact age but are guessing 3-4 years old. She has been spayed, vaccinated, flea treated and is negative for FeLV/FIV. She is a very sweet cat who loves attention. She also gets along well with other cats.🐾

Hey everyone! We wanted to thank everyone who donated to the medical bill for Henna! We couldn’t believe all the donations that came through. It more than covered her bill and the rest of the money will be put towards other medical costs at the shelter. She is a very sweet girl! She is recovering very well from surgery and loves attention! ❤️❤️

**2nd Update: We just keep learning more about this situation. This was not a stray cat or a lost cat. We were told it was, but that is not true. All that matters now is getting her healthy. She is safe with us and once she is doing good, she will be able to find her forever home.

**Update: We were just informed that this cat was found in Millersburg and brought back to Killbuck. Not sure what area of Millersburg, but we will update the post when we know.

Yesterday we were notified of a kitty that was in labor but having a difficult time. We had them take her to the vet and was informed that the kittens were not living and the momma cat had to have them removed via C-Section. It was noted that the kitty had a collar on.
If she is your cat or someone you know’s cat, please contact us. We don’t know if she was abandoned or lost.
She is currently at the shelter. She is resting from surgery and starting to feel a lot better. She has been spayed so this will never happen to her again.
The bill from her surgery is however very high and any donations to help with the costs would be greatly appreciated. You can donate here or call East Holmes Vet and make a donation directly.
