The best way to help your double-coated dog stay cool is to keep him thoroughly groomed. Removing the undercoat will help keep your dog cool. This can be a big job, so take your dog to the groomer if you can’t keep up with it yourself.

Dogs without an undercoat can also be warmer in summer if their coats aren't maintained and they get matted. Sometimes a shorter haircut is easier to maintain especially if your dog likes to swim during the warmer months.

Guess what?……………………….Corgi butt!
