Athena is an absolute beauty to look at and to be around! She’s so smart! With us being gone so many weekends I haven’t put the time in to her that I would like to! But with only the few sessions she’s had I lined her up to the mounting block for the first time and leaned over and she took is so well and so brave! I adore her!

Athena is our newest addition! She’s only two and she’s been learning so much in the little I have worked with her! She’s been a great little addition and she’s becoming a fan favorite with her adorable face! She’s cool, calm, and confident!

Our plan for her is for her to be a back up lesson horse and a competitive horse for cows and barrels! She will also do some obstacle courses!

-She loves cows
-Goes in water
-Stands for vet/ farrier/ chiro/ baths
-Up to date on dental, vaccines
-Last farrier 9/10
-Last chiro 9/11
-Can be rode on trails or any arena
-Barefoot
-Slowly started on barrel and pole pattern, haven’t asked for much speed yet
-Super sweet
-Mid to high in the pecking order
-Rides in just about any bit
-Has had jumping training from previous owner (I think she just got broke out in 2021/2022)
-Can swing a rope off her
-Loves to play with big yoga ball
-Ground drives
-Has some liberty training
-has been on organized trail rides
-Can’t tell when she’s in heat, she is nicer in heat if anything

She does have a past. I bought her in 2023 she wasn’t touched in 6 months and was skin and bone and never had her teeth done until I bought her. She was in a massive herd with little to no food so she can be super timid to other horses and gets afraid and try’s to kick. Not hard to stop her from it. She has an ugly scar of front left, I have x rays, vet said it shouldn’t affect her. She did have a hematoma in 2023, she did great for the vet and stood perfect when I took the tube and stitches out.

She’s my absolute favorite horse! Reason for selling is I just started my own business in 2023 giving lessons. Neytiri is a great horse and has taught a couple lessons but she like ones rider and not everyone getting on her. My other lesson horses go out quite often so I need a horse I can compete on and on occasions put lesson people on! She absolutely loves her people! My mother and boyfriend can ride her good. She’s super respectful and when told will leave the stall. She’s made leaps and bounds with me and is a blast to work with! If I had the money and the room she would never leave.

Her quirks
-She can get hoppy in the front end but she hasn’t done that in awhile. Just put on rein forward and give slack and she goes forward.
-She doesn’t like things dragging behind her. If someone worked with her she would do better.

Tiny clip from todays ride after not touching her for a couple days! This horse is four and hasn’t had much training. I’ve put about 5 rides on her and she’s doing amazing! 💚💚💚

Part of Lady’s riding is super quiet making sure she enjoys it and understands to come off my legs and to follow her nose. Forth ride! Two out of the four have been bareback and just walking around and getting used to weight on her back! We did a bunch of trotting this ride and she did absolutely amazing! No attitude and been super chill! 💚💚💚
