While there is no definite cure for allergies, your vet can help relieve it’s symptoms. Depending on the cause and type of allergy, the vet may prescribe an antihistamine, cream, medicated shampoo, or talk to you about Cytopoint or Apoquel to relieve the itching sensation.
At home, you can help your dog by wiping their paws and face after being outside, washing their bedding regularly, and vacuuming often.

Leptospirosis has become more prevalent now due to the constant building in the animals woods, they have been coming into out territory with nowhere else to go. If your pet gets infected, it can land your pet in the ER if caught soon enough and it can also infect people causing kidney and liver failure. If they aren’ vaccinating already it’s a good time to start thinking about it! 🦠💉

That’s why cats can often be somewhat destructive like inappropriate scratching, biting, knocking things off tables, or worse - spray/ marking around the house. Thanos’ pawrents found him a great outlet to relieve that excess energy while they aren’t home!
