"February is National Pet Dental Health Month! A majority of pets will start developing periodontal disease by the time they are 3 years old. Routine dental care at home is key to the dental health of your pets. This can include regular brushing, dental chews, and oral supplements. Scheduling a dental scaling under general anesthesia is often an important adjunct to your pet’s dental health management. To celebrate National Pet Dental Health Month we will be offering $100 off dental scalings for the month of February! If your pet is up to date on their annual exam and you would like to schedule a dental procedure please call our office. We would also be happy to schedule an exam to discuss your pet’s oral health as well 😁"

We at Raintree Veterinary Hospital would like to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!
We will be closed Thanksgiving Day 11/28, but will be back in the office 11/29 at 8:30am

While celebrating this year keep in mind...
🦃Keep the feast on the table!
Bones, gravy, sauces, dressings, fat and skin can cause GI upset. Bones can cause a possible choking/GI obstruction in your pet. Maybe offer them a safe "special" treat for the holiday.

🦃Put your trash away!
Do not leave anything out that may cause a problem. Turkey carcasses and food packaging can turn dangerous very quickly.

🦃Watch your pets around the holiday decorations.
Some plants are toxic to your pet, and certain decorations such as pine cones and corn cobs can cause GI obstruction.

🦃Some visitors can upset your pets, specifically children. Also watch the exits, a scared pet is a fast pet.

We use this opportunity to embrace our entire team at Raintree. It takes a village and veterinarians can’t take care of your pets by themselves. Each team member is an integral part of what makes Raintree so great! As we close out the week, we just wanted to take a moment to share how thankful we are for our Raintree team.
