Please remember summer heat safety tips for our furry family members: save outside activities for early morning, if possible, take a thermos of water with a splash of Gatorade or Pedialyte for extra electrolytes, take frequent water and shade breaks;
Be especially careful with short muzzle breeds- they overheat faster!

Don't have a photo, but an un- neutered male tan & white pit bull with one light eye & one brown eye was picked up in the area of Blueberry Rd & 331 last night. He has a cammo collar with no tags & an un-registered microchip implanted. The ladies who found him contacted homes in the area and he wasn't recognized. He's a sweet boy and is being transported to the Walton Co. animal shelter in Defuniak Springs. If he's yours or you know of him, please go get him!
