Freeport Veterinary Medical Center is now open again!!!! Hours are 9 to noon today! No appointment needed, just walk on in! Normal hours starting back Monday. Also, Wild Peach Veterinary Clinic is back open. Same hours and no appointment needed today. The Spawt remains open and ready to make your reservations for boarding. Thank you to everyone who has bared with us since Beryl! 21!!! Three days of perseverance and determination has helped 20 pets and 1 momma goat that have needed help after the hurricane. This doesn’t include the two kitty’s in their carriers that were involved in the traffic accident in the background (thankfully everyone was okay), nor the multiple medication refills, client phone consultations, or boarding patients that we’ve been caring for. We usually see that many appointments in a morning during normal times, but with working out of our boarding facility and dealing with all the challenges post- Beryl, we are extremely proud of our doctors and staff! It’s been a tough 72hrs, but they’re troopers. We will be at it again tomorrow, 9am to 4pm, at The Spawt (1324 N Brazosport Blvd) if you need veterinary care. Keep your head up Brazoria County, we’ll get through this together!

We’re Open!!! We’re available for both boarding and veterinary care due to our generator that provides normal a/c and electrical use. We’re here for urgent care from 9 to 4 today through Friday, and 8 to Noon Saturday. Once the power is restored, we will resume normal operations at the clinic. Currently we are taking walk-ins only. Additionally, we have 10 open dog and 3 open cat boarding rooms if you have a pet that needs relief from the heat. Appointments and rooms are first come first serve.

This is our Beryl crew taking care of all our in-house patients and our boarders. As exhibited by Scout in the background, all of our in-house patients have been transferred next door to The Spawt, because it has a built in generator that fully keeps it functioning. Tomorrow, we will be using The Spawt to see any urgent care patients that are in need from 9am to 4pm. Our phones won’t work until the internet comes back so just walk on in if you need help!

All pets that are currently on-site at either FVMC or The Spawt, are safe, sound and being cared for. Our back up generator at the spawt is keeping everyone comfortable.
We are tentatively planning to be open Tuesday July 9th at The Spawt for any urgent care veterinary needs ( unless we regain power at FVMC)
Hours will be posted later today.

We will be closed Monday but plan on being back open Tuesday (if conditions allow).
All on-site pets will be receiving care, comfort and attention thanks to our on-site, automatic industrial backup power generator. Wishing you all a safe and uneventful storm!!!
