We’re all praying for Rocky, his handler and the Vargas Family.

K-9 Rocky continues to recover after being shot yesterday in southwest Houston. Rocky was shot by the man who investigators say killed Brazoria Co. Deputy Jesus Vargas. The K-9 officer was shot when he found the suspect in a dumpster.

Rocky's handler stayed overnight at the hospital and hasn't left his side.

Hours for Urgent Care:
* Monday - Friday: 5pm - 10pm
* Saturday: 12pm - 10pm
* Sunday: Closed

We can’t wait to serve you and your pets on Urgent Care!

We heard you Brazoria County! Freeport Veterinary Medical Center is extending it’s hours to see urgent care cases until 10pm starting 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟲𝘁𝗵! Walk-in basis only for clients AND new clients.
