Black Silver Marans are called many things. Birchen Marans, BBS Marans or Blue black splash Marans. All those names are referring to the Black Silver. Which will be the the official name for this color once approved by the APA. I will be selectively breeding this spring to bring the best confirmation, egg color and feather color - that I can, year after year. Spring orders are open starting October 1st for chicks and fertile eggs.
