Rocco is looking for his forever home. This guy is a little timid but once he bonds to you he's a great dog. He's around 2 years old and loves to cuddle.
He's great with cats, kids, dogs, and livestock.

Another dog has been found running in the fields across the street from the SPCA of Tompkins County.
PLEASE STOP!!
Dogs found loose near the SPCA are taken in by the town of Dryden control which does not have the resources to handle this.
2 dogs have been picked up in less than a week and currently 71% of the dogs in the shelter have been picked up within a half mile of the SPCA.

This sweet guy was found on Sapsucker Woods rd this morning having a nice stroll around the neighborhood whilst meeting some new friends.

This experienced gentleman was found running on Rt.13 N just south of the Cortland County line.

I'd like to remind everyone that Midge is home.
I'd also like to thank everyone for sharing and keeping her in your thoughts and prayers.

INCREDIBLE AMAZING MIRACULOUS PUPDATE:
After almost 2 years on the run - Midge is SAFE and SECURE!!! She will be reunited with her family very soon. After running from everyone, Midge walked into a homeowners garage, laid down, and gave up her life on the run. DCO Jay Leonard brought her to the safety of Dryden Dog Shelter where she awaits her family. Picture in comments! Dryden, NY

New to the area! DO NOT CHASE!

Midge was out with her family last evening (6/21) and got loose at the Dryden High School off of Freeville Rd near baseball field #7. Midge is newly adopted and bolted into the woods. She will be frightened in her unfamiliar surroundings so please do not search the woods for her. Please do not call out to, whistle at, follow on foot or in vehicles, stare at, or walk towards as all of these actions will cause her to run further into danger.
