Dodge County Humane Society (DCHS)
Dissolution

The Board of Directors of the Dodge County Humane Society announces the upcoming dissolution of the nonprofit organization. DCHS has been serving the Fremont and surrounding communities since 1988, providing shelter and care to thousands of animals over the years. It currently relies solely on donations to support the financial operations of the organization. Unfortunately, without reliable and consistent income, it is unable to financially support ongoing operations.

The Board will be working through the dissolution process over the next 60 days, with the priority being the safety and health of the animals under our care throughout the transition. We will be developing a safe animal transfer and adoption plan as soon as possible.

Due to Covid-19, we are committed to adopting out animals into great homes, but we want to keep everyone safe. We will be performing possible adoption meet and greets for dogs via appointment only. Update- We are told she was spotted again either Monday or Tuesday night on county rd 5 north of Hwy 91 headed south. Any information is greatly appreciated!!

I have been told she was spotted on Hwy 91 between county rd’s 4 & 5. Although it is quite a way from our house, I’m putting anything out there. Also a few more pictures.

Lost dog!! 7 year old German Shepherd. Her name is Samantha and goes by Sam. She’s got a thin blue line collar and last seen between county rd f and g on Hwy 79, outside of Scribner/ Snyder, Ne. All info is on her collar and she is chipped. Please call 402-517-2462 if you have seen or have her. **REWARD FOR HER RETURN**
