🌿 Day 3: Holiday Plants – Festive but Toxic

Some holiday plants are beautiful—but toxic to pets:
🚫 Mistletoe – can cause vomiting, heart problems, and seizures
🚫 Holly – irritates the mouth and stomach
🚫 Lilies – especially dangerous to cats; even a small amount can lead to kidney failure
🚫 Poinsettias – mildly toxic, causing drooling and GI upset

🎄 Day 2: Ornaments, Tinsel & Strings – Pretty but Perilous

Sparkly doesn’t mean safe! Cats and dogs love to play with decorations, but chewing or swallowing tinsel, string, or glass ornaments can lead to:

❌ Intestinal blockages
❌ Mouth or throat injuries
❌ Emergency surgery

🎯 Pro tip: Skip the tinsel and keep fragile ornaments out of reach.

Holiday Hazards Countdown: Day 1 - Chocolate & Sweets – A Not-So-Sweet Surprise

Chocolate is one of the most common holiday hazards for pets—and it doesn't take much to cause serious problems.

🍫 Dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and sugar-free treats with xylitol are especially dangerous.
⚠️ Symptoms: vomiting, diarrhea, rapid heart rate, tremors, even seizures.
