Spooky season is here—but some Halloween traditions can be scary for pets in the wrong way. 👻🍬
⚠️ Keep these common Halloween hazards in mind:
- Chocolate and candy (especially xylitol!) are toxic to pets.
- Decorations with cords or small pieces can lead to choking or electrocution.
- Costumes might be cute, but can cause stress or overheating if not pet-safe.
- Doorbell rings from trick-or-treaters can spike anxiety, especially in dogs.
If your pet gets into something they shouldn’t—or shows sudden signs of illness—Beacon is open 24/7 for emergency care. 🏥
