🐦 A little piece of barn life... ❤️

It isn't just horses that call our barn home! Every spring and summer we're lucky enough to share it with our barn swallows, and one of our favorite traditions is watching the babies grow.

From tiny, fuzzy hatchlings with mouths wide open waiting for dinner to confident little birds getting ready for their first flight, it's amazing to watch nature unfold right alongside our daily lessons and chores.

These little ones remind us that the barn is full of life in so many ways. We love sharing our home with them and look forward to seeing them return each year.

🐴 We've been a little quiet on Facebook lately, and we wanted to apologize for that! Life at the farm has been wonderfully busy.

Over the past several weeks, we've been spending our days teaching lessons, welcoming new and returning students, heading out on trail rides, and making memories with both our horses and riders. While we've been soaking up every minute in the saddle, our social media has definitely taken a back seat!

Here's a photo from one of our recent rides. There's nothing quite like enjoying the trails together and watching our riders build confidence, skills, and friendships along the way. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has been riding with us, supporting us, and being patient while we've been a little absent online. We truly appreciate our amazing barn family! We'll do our best to share more photos, updates, and horse adventures with you as the season continues.

After a long winter of waiting, today was the day the gates finally opened 🌿🐴

The horses stepped out into the pasture with that mix of excitement and curiosity—heads high, tails swishing, hooves dancing like they remembered exactly what to do. Some went straight for the fresh grass like it was the best meal they’ve ever had, while others took a victory lap or two just to stretch their legs and feel the open space again.

There’s something special about that first turnout—the sound of tearing grass, the soft snorts, the quiet moments in between bursts of energy. It’s a reminder that simple things, like sunshine and a field of green, can mean everything.

Little Mimi took her very first ride on Titanium today, and it was pure magic from start to finish ✨🐴

With Jan leading the way, Mimi sat tall in the saddle, soaking in every second of her big moment. Right by her side were Grandpa and Grandma, walking alongside with proud smiles that said it all, while Mom captured every second behind the camera 📸

You could feel the love and excitement wrapping around her like a warm blanket. First rides are something special… and this one was full of courage, family, and a little spark that says this is just the beginning 💛

Little Mimi took her very first ride on Titanium today, bundled up and beaming like she knew she’d just discovered something magical. With Jan leading the way and Grandpa right by her side, every step was full of trust, laughter, and a whole lot of heart.

Bridget’s birthday ride at Hampton Beach was one for the books 🌊🐴💙

Bridget out there shining on Gem, Fred cruising along on Chilli, and Jan riding Fendler like it was pure second nature. The ocean breeze, the sound of the waves, and a whole lot of horse magic made it such a special day.

Ambrosia was right there handling Gem, keeping everything smooth and steady, while David worked behind the scenes handling Chilli and capturing this perfect moment 📸

Nothing beats good people, great horses, and a beach ride to celebrate another trip around the sun 🎂✨
