If your seatbelt could talk, what would it say to you?

"I miss you. I wish we were closer."
"Let me hold you while you drive me crazy!"
"I know you're strapped for cash, and that's okay. Just so long as you're strapped . . . in."
"I just hate the way you drive! What you need is a good, stiff belt."
"Look at us! We're joined at the hip."
"I so appreciate how you always keep me abreast."
"Right from the start, the two of us just clicked."

Keanu Reeves is a true dog lover 🥰🥰

This is Matrix movie star Keanu Reeves. He was abandoned by his father at 3 years old and grew up with 3 different stepfathers. He is dyslexic. His dream of becoming a hockey player was shattered by a serious accident. His daughter died at birth. His wife died in a car accident. His best friend, River Phoenix, died of an overdose. His sister battled leukemia.
No bodyguards, no luxury houses. Keanu lives in an ordinary apartment and likes wandering around town and often seen riding a subway in NYC.
When he was filming the movie "The Lake House," he overheard the conversation of two costume assistants, one crying as he would lose his house if he did not pay $20,000 - On the same day, Keanu deposited the necessary amount in his bank account. In his career, he has donated large sums to hospitals including $75 million of his earnings from “The Matrix” to charities.
In 2010, on his birthday, Keanu walked into a bakery & bought a brioche with a single candle, ate it in front of the bakery, and offered coffee to people who stopped to talk to him.
In 1997 some paparazzi found him walking one morning in the company of a homeless man in Los Angeles, listening to him and sharing his life for a few hours.
In life, sometimes the ones most broken from inside are the ones most willing to help others.
This man could buy everything, and instead every day he gets up and chooses one thing that cannot be bought

Dogs caught up in dogfighting are forced to fight and suffer from horrific injuries. Most spend their entire lives outdoors, bound by heavy chains and tethered close together to encourage fighting. They’re only freed for breeding, fighting, conditioning for fighting or to be sold for fighting. Oth...

Is your dog's confinement adequate? If the animal escapes, he or she may exhibit behavior you've never seen before. Should your pet prove to be a menace to the community or cause injury to a person or another animal, your local Animal Control officer may deem it necessary to serve notice that your pet is either dangerous or potentially dangerous. Furthermore, you could be declared a reckless owner. In addition to a fine, you may also be required to have the dog spayed or neutered and microchipped. For many pet owners these steps prove very costly. If you determine that your fence is not secure enough to keep your dog confined and replacing it is not within your budget, you may want to insert a device into the middle of your yard and attach a strong cord. Just make sure the cord is short enough to keep your dog from reaching the fence. Owning a dog is a privilege. If you currently own one or are planning to, please take the necessary steps to ensure that your dog is adequately confined. Your community will thank you.

Our four-legged companions bring so much to our lives. The emotional support they provide helps us cope with life's pressures and disappointments. The unconditional love they've been equipped with often keeps pet owners from giving up on life. Here is some important information for landlords who prefer not to have animals in their rental units.

Laws now recognize the mental health benefits of living with animals. Landlords must understand current emotional support animal housing laws.

Biden’s move to expand abortion on demand through the Department of Veteran Affairs breaks federal law. It is in violation of Section 106 of the Veterans Health Care Act of 1992 which specifically prohibits the VA from providing abortion.

A Christian nurse has won a massive victory against Joe Biden and his administration’s attempt to force doctors and nurses to participate in abortions that violate their religious views. Stephanie Carter, a nurse practitioner at the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Center in Texas filed a lawsuit last y...

I acquired a new client and started cleaning for her today. When I walked in, her two dogs were nervous but gradually warmed up to me. While I cleaned the kitchen, I talked to them to let them get used to the sound of my voice. By the time I finished, they were both in the kitchen with me, licking my hands and wagging their tails. Love the bonding process!

A Lifelong Love

As a child I loved animals. Our family pet was a Dachshund named Heidi. Sadly, she fell down the back steps and slipped a disk. My dad had a friend make a cart for her with a little hammock to rest her belly on so she could run with her front legs while her back legs hung limply behind the cart. After Heidi died, we got a Beagle and named her Lizzie. Although we had planned to keep her with us when we moved into a bigger house, we ended up with a much smaller yard and had to give her away. Thus began our transition from dogs to cats. A Siamese named Samantha, A white cat named Genny, a black & white named Matthew, and a Tortoiseshell named Taffy.

Soon after establishing my cleaning business, a client asked if I would like to stay at her place while she and her family visited relatives over Christmas. (They had planned to leave their German Shorthair, Dakota, with friends; however, those friends were also going away for Christmas.) Thus began my pet sitting service. Now I’m “Aunt Lisa” to oodles of pets throughout the Greater Fremont Area. One client gave me a Hallmark card to express her appreciation for the tender loving care I give her dog, Snickers. The inside of the card read “You care for other people’s pets as if they were your own.” Well, they ARE mine! I just don’t take them home with me. I move into their home while their owners are away. While I’m with them, their my kids. I love my work!
