Clients and friends after now owning Hillrise Kennels for 7 months I am focused at making even more improvements based on client feedback.
With that said I am increasing my rates effective March 1 to $25 per day for the first dog and additional sibling dogs will be $20. Cats remain the same at $12 per day.
The improvements include putting drainage and new pet friendly turf in a section under the trees in the play yards where grass won’t grow keeping the dogs feet clean.
I am purchasing some fun playground and training items for the play areas as well. My goal is also to put up and indoor play area for the winter next year. It was a really rough few weeks for the pets when it was so cold I was doing playtimes in my grooming area in the early mornings and late afternoons. Wasn’t ideal but I had to make sure they got some quality time outside their kennels.
The last note is many clients have made requests that I take credit cards so I will be adding that too to help those making the request.
My research shows I am still lower than most kennels similar to what it is today so with my enhancements it will be great for your pets to stay with us. Thank you

Hillrise Kennels has become known as the best bathing and deshedding SPA. This time of year when it’s warming up the dogs are starting to shed even more. come see us and get rid of all the dog hair in your house. We wrap up with a new deshedding vacuum it is quit and the dogs are loving it. We treat them with a message and a little peanut butter reward.

We have a few left for last minute shopping.

WILDROSES GREENHOUSE getting super full of new plants. I decided to take some of the colorful Coleus plants and create some fun Valentines gifts for that special person that loves outdoor plants. Buy now feed them a little water and some light and they will be very beautiful and larger to plant in your pots or the ground by Mother’s Day.
I love pets and plants so am having great fun with both on the Hill. Thanks all just stop by the kennel during open hours and pick one up. I only have 20 to sell at this time.🌹💕💕💕

Hillrise clients I want you to know I am reading and studying every thing I can about this new virus spreading with dogs. As if today still no reports in Nebraska. Now that the busy holiday weekend is winding down I will be separating space between all dogs boarding or grooming. We don’t socialize our pets thank goodness but we are taking extra efforts to keep all of them safe and healthy , we are spraying Lysol as we always do but even more when the pets are outside.
If I hear or see any dog sneezing or coughing I will call the owner right away and do my best to separate thatdog from others even more.
You can trust we take this very serious and will do everything possible and I will follow all the updates as the vets learn more about what this is. Please be sure to keep your dogs vaccinated for the bordetella that covers certain viruses and certainly can’t hurt even if the don’t board or groom during this time. Thank you

My groomer has this viral flu going around she will be out today for sure and maybe tomorrow
I will have to cancel all appointments today and wait to see about tomorrow am sorry we will repost the dates for the Breast Cancer donation event

I asked myself today what more can I do to honor breast cancer awareness?
My groomer and I decided we should offer 50% off grooming and bathing only for Monday through Wednesday next week the 30th through November 1st. We will take walk in’s after 10am and we will do walk in nail trims for $7.00

I know the person that took the females sister and he absolutely thinks she is wonderful so I am sure Rosie is just as great let’s all work together and find these last 3 a home please/ thank you

Hillrise family and friends. We are assisting so to find homes for 8 amazing cats. They include a Bangel a SilverPoint and several other amazing cats. All are spayed or neutered: they are front declawed and all current on vaccinations.
I would take some if my husband wasn’t allergic to cats. I placed one and the new owner is so happy.
We will be posting pictures tomorrow
You will be able to schedule a time with me to come see them and decide if any are a fit for you
Please spread the word I normally would not do this sort of things but I had to help because they deserve a new happy loving home like they came from.
