So what is different about these cattle that we raise, higher yielding carcass weight, lower fat content, no injections, fed non gmo feed we grow all our own feed we know what goes into them,the calves are born here and raised here there whole life so we know what has been put into them.

The way things are going up this year farmers are going to have to make some changes to stay in business. Fertilizer is up over 100 percent. Are people able to pay twice the amount for food? I don't think so.

We are making changes to try to keep our costs down - but this is bound to effect yield. Hopefully not too much! We are trying to keep our beef affordable. We don't want to loose our repeat customers who have been buying from us, and the the new ones we have been getting. We truly appreciate your business! We should have plenty of animals available through the year. But if you are interested we suggest you get on the list.

When you're buying beef do you research what the beef is, or do you just look for the cheapest price? There is a lot of difference out there. We raise one copy Piedmontese cattle. Compare that to traditional beef on the bottom. The difference is in the genetics of the breed. It's not magic or someone not feeding this or that. You can't make a Cadillac out of a Chevy Cobalt by what gas you put in the tank. 😉

If you hear grass fed beef is the way to go, that takes more time to raise, and the older the animal is, the tougher the meat. Piedmontese still has more nutritional value than that. Our beef is grass and non GMO grain fed.

I guess what I'm trying to say is when you're looking at buying beef there is a lot of different options out there but I am sure that we are giving you a very good product at a very good price.

Just a reminder-

We now have Piedmontese cross non GMO ground beef for sale. This is the whole cow made into ground beef - the steak, roasts, everything. Must buy at least 50 lbs that's 1/8 of the cow at $5.50/pound that is total price, including processing. This is premium burger! Look up Piedmontese online and see what a great deal this is!
