Got to hear from my good friend Luis,, a professional dog groomer on how important it is to keep the dogs groomed. Matting or knots can pull on the skin and cause discomfort and cause the dogs to not want to be petted. He has locations based in San Jose and San Francisco. He also has a mobile service as well. If you are interested in having a service give him a call at 408-466-3660. For my clients who may be interested in having a service at our location let us know and we can set that up.

Hey all, I have a client that is going through some rough times and has to make a fast move but can't take his dog with him until he gets re-established in a few months. His dog Blue a very friendly Pitbull that I have been helping that was paralyzed is now starting to stand needs a place to stay. He is willing to help out for paying for your time until he can get situated and bring Blue back home. It is his sons dog and his son has been a trooper at caring for this dog and this is just temporary. He knows if someone can't take him then he will have to put his dog down. If you can help out I can put you in touch with him.

Went out to take care of a couple horses this morning and found this newborn filly in a gully. How she got there without momma being around is a mystery. She was tired and stuck trying to get up and her spine was misaligned from being in a weird position. Finally got her up and got her slowly walking and stretching her muscles out. Then got her reunited with momma. Hopefully she will survive without any complications.

My new animal treatment room is slowly coming together. Vinyl plank flooring in, walls painted, new hydraulic table arrived. Next up new cabinets, counter, computer and phone.

If anyone has some old used bath sized towels that they would like to donate I could use them to pad the table. I don't need more than about a dozen. The animals appreciate it.

This is Hugo, he was starting to go down in the rears and stopped walking. He lost muscular control over his private parts. His owner brought him to me from Napa and he has had his second treatment and back to walking now. He still has a way to go but is a much happier dog.
