Founded by filmmaker Bill Millios HippoPress wrote that “Millios has earned a reputation as one of the state’s leading docu
mentary and commercial filmmakers.” Millios' two feature-length films, 'Old Man Dogs' (1997) and 'Dangerous Crosswinds' (2005), were well-received in Variety, The Boston Globe and America Online and screened at theaters throughout New England. Millios' documentary, 'Stories from Mount Washington' (2019), was based on the award-winning book, 'The White Mountain', by author Dan Szczesny. Other credits include 'Killing Our Best Friends – The Crisis of Pet Overpopulation' (1994) and 'Bottled Words' (1995). Millios has taught digital video production and film history at Southern New Hampshire University and also is a co-author of the book, 'The Digital Filmmaking Workshops: Producing, Marketing, and Screening Your Independent Feature-Length Film'. His collection of short stories, 'The Winter Thaw', will also soon be released.
