This month is dedicated to spreading awareness about this lifelong condition of diabetes, which affects approximately one in 300 adult dogs and one in 230 cats in the United States. Look out for the signs of diabetes in pets, such as excessive thirst, weight loss, and lethargy. You can prevent the onset of diabetes, by maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine for your pet!
