📢 Upcoming Closure Notice – Spring 2026

As our Spring Break schedule begins to fill, I wanted to share the next set of scheduled closure dates to help with your planning.

🗓️ Homeward Hound Retreat will be closed from April 15th through April 26th, 2026. No boarding services will be available during this time.
🔹For reference when booking future boarding needs you can also find this notice at the below locations:

We’ll keep you updated if any changes arise and will also send out any other dates or updates for 2026 via email in January.

SAFETY FIRST! 🐾
We’re all about safety and the comfort of your beloved pets — always!

We’re excited to let you know that our property is now equipped with 24-hour security cameras for added peace of mind. 🛡️🐶

Now, you might be thinking... “Wow, that’s a lot of weeds!” 🤣🤦‍♀️
Let us explain! First, yes — we do need to redo the driveway 😂
But more importantly, we do not use any kind of pesticides on our property. Why? Because we care deeply about your pets' health and well-being. Many of the dogs we care for (including our own) have medical conditions, and pesticides can cause serious issues like: Seizure triggers, Upset stomachs, or other health complications. They also negatively impact local wildlife, which we try our best to protect.
So yes... sometimes the bugs and weeds get on our nerves too — but your pet’s safety always comes first! 🥰

🚨 REMINDER: We are CLOSED next week (August 27th – September 2nd)
We’re taking a short break before the busy fall season kicks off!

September is already starting with a BANG — many weeks are fully booked, and October is filling up fast. This is your friendly reminder to book early for peak times! 📅✨

Hi everyone! PLEASE READ!
I am trying to figure out a way to ensure clients can see what future dates and appointment times are scheduled, as well as receiving notification reminders. That way, I'm not stuck remembering to send everyone individual reminder texts! I find some people are seeing different times and dates, some get the notifications, and others do not even when RSVPed. It would help me and be much appreciated if everyone could install the Google Calendar App to your phone. This should clear up this issue. You should be able to sync your preferred email to the calendar so that when you RSVP, you will be able to see all the dates and times we have you scheduled for. If you have dates scheduled for the future and need your rsvp link(s) again, please let me know!

Not all dogs want to socialize with other furry friends and thats okay! While other dogs are just fence agressive and mean no harm at all. We are here to try and make every dogs experience at the facility as comfortable as possible! You may see some curtains hanging inside. We are trying this out to keep some of our non social/reactive pups a bit more calm during busy times. If you see a curtain with a sign, please do as it says.
