Today marks the first year since Andrew left our world.
My heart aches ...again, still.
I have learned that the loss of my children will be with me as long as I remain in this world.
I describe it as threads of sadness that are interwoven among threads of joy and hope .
Those threads create who I am in this world.
Collective experiences that cannot be separated from my very heart.
Today the loss feels fresh...raw.
I will lean into the arms of the one who understands that pain and imparts His peace to my soul.
Heaven holds a glorious promise of reuniting with my boys and all those I have lost here on earth.
Today I remind myself...
This is not my home.
I'm simply passing through.
