This is my baby Pepe ( the chi next to my sleeping cat Sunshine), I found him in March running in and out of traffic over on West between McKinley and Shields. It took me an hour to win it's trust and get it in the car. After a couple of months of trying to find it's owner , I started looking for it's forever home and I did....right here with me! He seemed so sad when he first got here not being in it's own home I suppose, but started to finally get comfy after a few weeks ,we spoiled it because it's the baby and gets treated like one. It's such a ham too it little expressions would be perfect for a movie. Love you Pepe

I can’t stress more, don’t look at your pets as just a dog or just a cat or whatever other type of pet you may have. They may not be human but they are a living, breathing, feeling being . The need nurturing, they want love and companionship, they feel sadness and despair, pain and anger. They have to suffer and adjust to being lost, being dumped, being left behind, changing homes, losing their friends having to make new ones or possibly being lonely. They have to depend on us to remember these things and have empathy and be responsible to realize they feel........EVERYTHING you do.
