Severina is all grown up, and destined to become the mother of our brand-new Royal Halloween line!

Her deep black with bright orange accents and royal purple chelicerae make her a true Halloween Queen; plus her cuddlebug nature, in which she will nestle herself into the warm hollows of a palm and nap, really brings to mind toasty evenings around a fire.

We will soon be pairing her with Thrawn II, a gigantic male with well-defined carapace bands. Like his namesake, he is decisive and powerful. What remarkable babies these two will make!

Happy Twin Peaks day! It's been 36 years since Agent Dale Cooper drove into Twin Peaks and our hearts to investigate the mystery of Laura Palmer and the Black Lodge. The late and great David Lynch's tie-in movie to the Twin Peaks series, Fire Walk With Me, inspired our name and aesthetic.

In light of that, we are proud to introduce Special Agent Dale Spooder, one of the patriarchs of the upcoming generation of SWWM.

Did you know that jumping spiders can see the moon?

Their eyes work like Galilean telescopes, allowing them to see objects that are 0.07 degrees apart. The full moon is about 0.5 degrees across the sky, so jumping spiders can easily spot it.

Introducing Severina, the daughter of Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger. She is currently a subadult, and I hope her vibrant coloring survives her adult molt. She looks just like her mother before HER final molt: Sabine's orange spots turned yellow. If you zoom in on the dark areas on Severina's back, you'll see that they are dark brown-black with orange stippling. She's one of the prettiest dark-phase girls I've ever produced.

Spider Walk With Me celebrates our 5-year anniversary today! We are filled with gratitude for the people who've opened their hearts to our lovable spiders and given them a home.

We pay special tribute to Big FAT Phids for their faith in our vision, which began with Quick Ben and Dryjhna the Apocalyptic. As we embark on the next five years, we're committed to sharing the delight of baby spiders and overcoming arachnophobia, one heart at a time.
