They grow up so fast 🤧 Our lion cubs have been well taken care of behind the scenes by Zamaya and our animal care teams. They are both growing and getting more playful every day. Here is a little montage of some of their cutest moments since birth. 🦁 🧡
After a challenging start, our young calf was up and walking just a couple of hours after birth and nursing a few hours later. He's now starting to spend more time outside, and you may even be able to catch a glimpse of him in his introduction space from Twiga Terrace.

In addition to their interesting appearance, tapirs are also excellent swimmers. They spend a lot of time in the water feeding on aquatic plants, bathing, and generally cooling off. They use their trunk-like snouts as a snorkel when diving.
