It's foxtail season!!!!
These weeds can pose serious risks to pets that spend any time outdoors. Foxtails are notorious for their seed structure, which is designed to burrow into the ground. That same structure also enables the seeds to be easily inhaled, lodged in the ears, swallowed, or embedded in your pet's coat or skin . We recommend to check your pet after any outdoor activities.
If your suspecting your pet has a foxtail seek veterinary care ASAP to avoid potentially serious complications.
