Rosie’s story is EXACTLY why we do what we do.

This sweet girl was hours away from being euthanized in an overcrowded Houston shelter. Her post went up on social media, and our teammate Jennifer saw it just in time. Because of that one moment, Rosie’s life was spared — and now she’s on her way to the Pacific Northwest to find the forever family she deserves.

Every day, dogs and cats like Rosie run out of time. We aren’t government funded — it’s only because of this community that we can keep saying yes when they need us most.

Grace’s story reminds us why we do this work. ❤️ Back in 2021, Grace (fka Blossom) was found wandering the streets of Houston with her mama, Daisy. Her ears drooped, her little body was worn down, and she looked so defeated. She had no idea her whole world was about to change.

With the help of her foster, Heather, Grace healed and blossomed into the bright, happy girl you see today. Now she’s living her best life in the Pacific Northwest with her mama, Sara, who reminds us often just how loved this girl is. 🐾

Since Grace’s rescue, we’ve saved over 17,000 Houston dogs and cats in just 7 years — but we can’t keep going without you.

From broken to beaming — this is Mini Meredith’s story. ❤️ When she first came to us, she was being given away for free on Craigslist, in heat, and in rough shape. Years of neglect had left her with painful medical issues and no hope in sight. She was just another forgotten dog… until rescue stepped in.

Fast forward to today, and just look at her! 🙌 Mini Meredith has had the care she always deserved and now shines with love, comfort, and a sparkle in her eyes. Her days of suffering are over — she’s living proof of what second chances can do.

This transformation is why we rescue. And it’s why our 2025 Three Little Pitties Rescue Gala auction and raffle matters so much. Every bid, every raffle ticket helps us save more dogs and cats like Mini Meredith — the ones who’ve been tossed aside but still deserve their happily ever after.

✨ Where Are They Now: Mabel ✨

Remember Mabel? The soulful, puppy-eyed mama from Pasadena whose babies found homes before she did? Well, her story took the happiest turn. 💕

Today, Mabel is living her dream life in Montana! She’s got a 14-year-old pittie sister named Pepper Potts, and together they’re inseparable. She’s a mountain-hiking, snow-loving, river-rafting girl (yes, she’s got her own life jacket 🛶❄️). She even goes to work every day with her person—earning endless treats from the mail carriers and greeting everyone like the true welcoming committee she is.

From shelter floor to stealing the bed (what’s left after Pepper claims her spot 😆), Mabel is proof that second chances change everything. 💖

Did y’all know? Every two weeks, our rescue loads up a transport full of dogs and cats from Houston, Texas—pets who once had nowhere to go—and drives them toward forever families across the PNW, East Coast, and Midwest.

This week, 167 souls got their ticket to a brand-new life. That’s 167 second chances made possible by fosters opening their homes, volunteers showing up no matter the hour, and a staff that refuses to quit.

To our village: we couldn’t do this without you. 💛 From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with us and helping us save lives, one road trip at a time.

🍫🥜 Meet Vienna Angel—the peanut butter cup of love you never knew you needed! She’s sweet as chocolate, smooth as peanut butter, and filled with nothing but love. With her warm brown coat, soft soulful eyes, and the cutest little “resting sad face,” this girl has already mastered the art of melting hearts. Maybe it’s her way of saying, “More treats, please!”—and trust us, it works every single time.

Vienna is the perfect mix of all the right things—gentle, playful, cuddly, and just the right amount of silly. Like your favorite candy, she’s got a soft center, a little bounce, and endless sweetness to share. Being around her feels like unwrapping pure joy.

✨ PNW fam, listen up—man do we have a dog for you! Vienna Angel is rolling into your area this weekend, ready to steal the show, the snacks, and probably your heart. ✨
