Mary Mary captured our hearts at while visiting for a possible vaccine reaction! Symptoms of vaccine reactions can be pretty tough on a pet as they can feel lethargic, discomfort, a mild fever, vomiting or diarrhea. Mary Mary's parents did the right thing for bringing her in to see us. Before heading home, she received the award for Pet of the Week for being the perfect patient for her treatments! Yesterday, our team at UrgentVet Mckinney had the solemn honor of providing care for K9 Officer Azi, a devoted partner who gave his life in the line of duty. Azi was a hero, a protector, and a beloved member of the McKinney Police Department.

Our hearts go out to Azi’s handler, fellow officers, and all who knew and loved him. His dedication and bravery will never be forgotten.

Rest easy, K9 Officer Azi. You were deeply loved, and your service will always be remembered. It was a privilege to care for you.

🚨 OFFICIAL STATEMENT: OFFICER-INVOLVED SHOOTING 🚨

The McKinney Police Department has released an official statement regarding the officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 13, 2025, at the Red Roof Inn on 1300 North Central Expressway.

The investigation remains active and has been turned over to the Texas Rangers. There is no ongoing threat to the public.
