She is a staff favorite at the shelter.

Update: THANK YOU TO A NEW FOSTER! Dion will be sprung from the shelter tomorrow and safe in foster care until transport. 🥳

We need a foster home for DION until December 7th.
• male Great Pyrenees mix
• don't have precise weight but he's size large
• About 3 years old
• Happy and friendly
• Shelter says he loves to be near his people

FOSTER NEEDED for DAPPER DAN
Our rescue partner wants this boy, he just needs a Medical Foster Home to get him through whatever care is required for his leg fracture. Please help us save Dapper Dan! 🙏

Update from shelter: Transverse radial fracture, non-displaced. Ulna appears intact so favorable prognosis for healing with appropriate care. This one may not need surgical repair if external coaptation (splint/cast) managed.

This was the shelter's original plea...

This handsome guy was brought in as a stray with a broken leg. He is not bearing much weight on the leg and will need more medical attention than the shelter is able to provide. We can keep him comfy on pain management but he will need more in depth medical care.

Heartbreaking Update: in spite of having a rescue partner wanting him, we couldn't find a foster, and Kylo was euthanized today. These are some of the hardest losses. 💔 All he needed was 3 months.

FOSTER NEEDED ASAP IN ORDER TO SAVE KYLO! One of our rescue partners wants to save this beautiful boy but we need a foster as soon as possible, as he is on the EU list and is running out of time. Anyone able to help?

This is what one volunteer has to say about him... "Kylo was a total snuggle bug and was easy to handle and walk. He barked when I approached his kennel but as soon as the door clicker open he started licking my hand."

Foster Home needed for PLUTO until transport on November 2nd. He's about a year old, super cute, super friendly, and great with other dogs. He's already got several foster offers in Wisconsin... so can we get him into a home here for just 2 weeks so he can make this transport please?

8/14 Update: Two of these pups are still in need of a foster home until 8/24! 8/8 Update: still in need of fosters! 😟 Correction to sexes: 4 MALES ARE IN NEED OF FOSTERS. FOSTER HOMES NEEDED for 6 PUPPIES 4 females, 2 males, 2.5 months old, 7-8 lbs. Per the shelter, they have URIs and have started on meds.
