Foster needed ASAP for CAILEY until March.
• female, about 3 years old, 68 lbs
• Heartworm Positive (will go through treatment)
• currently on meds and recovering from pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma infection.
☆ Needs to be kept separate from other dogs for at least the next 9 days. (Cleaning would involve soap and bleach of any areas/items she comes into contact with.)
♡ She's not feeling the greatest right now, but is very sweet, and enjoys petting and affection.

Who can help her? She needs a place as soon as possible.

Here is what the shelter said about this cutie:
This sweet, gentle girl is so loving. She literally washed my face with kisses. That is after a slow introduction, and we had spent some time together. She is a one year-old 61 pound retriever lab mix that arrived at the shelter on 12/20. She was brought in by one of our officers. Her gray snout makes her look older, but I checked her teeth. She’s most likely between one and two years old. At first when I met her she had her tail tucked, but it was obvious she wanted to make friends. Like many dogs she doesn’t understand why she’s at the shelter and was panting nervously. When you’re used to a home, the shelter environment is quite a contrast. With TLC and trust she will settle in and be a loyal, loving companion. She doesn’t appear to know the sit command, but that’s something you could teach her. She did cautiously come to me when I called her from across the yard. She’s so so SWEET!!! She went nose to nose with other dogs without a problem. She walked well on a leash and she did her business in the yard.

Who will help us get this girl out of the shelter and into a loving home until she's ready to go to Minnesota in February?

12/5 A.M. Update: Ruby delivered 11 sweet pups yesterday and has a temp P4P foster that can keep until 1/6. This family will need just a few days bridge FROM 1/6 TO 1/11. Who can help for 6 DAYS please?

12/4 A.M. Update: RUBY is in labor and we need to find her a space place as soon as possible! 5 weeks is all that's needed to bridge their lives to rescue. HELP!

FOSTER HOME NEEDED... Sweet Ruby is ready to deliver her babies any day now. We need a foster home where she can deliver in peace, and be kept safe until the whole family goes up to their rescue on the January 11th transport. Who can help?

Update: now all we need foster(s) from 12/27 to transport on 1/11. Just 16 days! We want to spring them from the shelter but need a plan in place until transport.

Update: Need foster(s) from 12/27 to 1/11. Also need someone to keep them for the day on 12/8. Please let's get these babies covered!

Until January 11th transport for these 3 puppies. Currently about 3 months old and about 15 lbs each. Sweet playful fun little pups.

CURLY NEEDS A FOSTER HOME!
Starting this Monday 12/2 until the January transport. He's a little scruffy Terrier who loves everyone, and other dogs too.

We have only the weekend to secure a foster, so please if you can help him speak up right away... it'll save his life.

Fabulous Fred will finish meds for Coccidia on Sunday and would love a nice foster home where he can get some love while he finishes recovering from his neuter. He transports to MN next Saturday, 12/7.

A Good Samaritan saved them off the side of the highway before they were hit by passing cars. Now they just need 10 more days of safe haven before they go on transport. Please, who will give 10 days to bridge them to rescue?

11/22: Last Call for Lola. Can anyone foster her for 2 weeks? We can get her spayed on Monday and she will need a safe clean place to recover until transport.

Update: No one has offered to help Lola. She needs just a 2-week foster to save her life.

Our rescue partner wants this boy, he just needs a Medical Foster Home to get him through whatever care is required for his leg fracture. Please help us save Dapper Dan! 🙏

Update from shelter: Transverse radial fracture, non-displaced. Ulna appears intact so favorable prognosis for healing with appropriate care. This one may not need surgical repair if external coaptation (splint/cast) managed.

This handsome guy was brought in as a stray with a broken leg. He is not bearing much weight on the leg and will need more medical attention than the shelter is able to provide. We can keep him comfy on pain management but he will need more in depth medical care.
