Dear LazyPaw Clients and Pets:

Veterinary Technician Week is October 13-19 this year. We do things a little differently because ours is a small team. From the Client Coordinators to the Veterinary Practice Managers to the Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants we all pull together. It’s a privilege to work alongside them to achieve a common goal of healing animals. Their knowledge, resilience, compassion and commitment to caring for people and pets is commendable. We share equally the highs and lows of veterinary practice. Together we mourn the losses and celebrate the wins. They make a difference every day.

This year we ask that you share your stories of how someone on the team made your day better, helped make your worst day easier to bear, or anything positive you’d like to share about your veterinary care team.

Everyone likes to receive mail so letters/cards would be most appreciated, but emails are printed and posted on our team appreciation board for all to see.

In today’s fast-paced digital world, our team here at LazyPaw Animal Hospitals is keeping up with the latest communication platforms! We enjoy interacting with our clients on our Google Plus, Facebook, Instagram (@LazyPawAnimalHospitals) and Twitter pages, and want to continue the trend of making it easy for our pet parent’s to stay in communication with our staff. LazyPaw Animal Hospitals wants to save our clients time by offering the option to send in digital questions via photo and video. We have set the goal to respond to these questions within the day.

For example, if you think your cat might be sick and has been showing certain symptoms, or maybe your dog is hurt and you are not sure if it is serious or not, snap a quick photo or a short video with your smart phone, and send it over to us at [email protected] during clinic business hours. We will review to help you to determine if or how urgently you should schedule an appointment.

Can you imagine the types of photos arriving in our inbox? Ha! :D

We are excited and prepared to answer all of your questions! With everyone’s hectic schedules, this system has already saved our wonderful clients time and energy, provided peace of mind and allowed your LazyPaw Veterinary Medical Care Team the opportunity to aid in determining the next best steps in care of your furry friend, often without the unnecessary hassle of bringing them in each time a pet parent has a question or concern.
