Please wish sweet Pepper Ann a very happy, belated birthday! She recently celebrated her eleventh in style with dog friendly swimming adventures along the Brazos River followed by cake and party hats! As you can see, she had an absolute blast!!!

What makes these images all the more joyful are that they are following a stroke! Her owners' dedication to her physical therapy over the past few years has lead to her remarkable recovery and return to a full, active life.🐾😍

Planning on viewing the upcoming eclipse? It's best to have a plan for ALL family members' food, water and elimination needs. You may want to leave your furry family members at home due to the anticipated heavy crowds and accompanying traffic:

Dr. Rena Carlson, the president of the Schaumburg-based American Veterinary Medical Association, said most dogs and cats won’t be bothered by the eclipse. But crowds are another thing.

Phones are back. Apparently a nationwide issue caused the glitch. Our service providers are on the job trying to find preventative measures in case of future issues. Thank you all for your patience. 🐾

Our phones are currently down. We are working on getting them back up and running but if you need us in the meantime, please send an email to [email protected] so we can assist you.

For all you new puppy raisers or even older but new dog caregivers out there, it is critical that we expose our dogs to all sorts of environments and reward them for calm, controlled responses. This may not be a daily event but loud, WEIRD and fast moving things can be encountered unexpectedly. Take the opportunity to train your canine companion to take these things in stride. Here is 5 month old just chillin’ during this past weekend’s Irishfest in Fair Park, Dallas. 🐾

WELCOME TO FRISCO!!!

In today’s fast-paced digital world, our team here at LazyPaw Animal Hospitals is keeping up with the latest communication platforms! We enjoy interacting with our clients on our Google Plus, Facebook, Instagram (@LazyPawAnimalHospitals) and Twitter pages, and want to continue the trend of making it easy for our pet parent’s to stay in communication with our staff. LazyPaw Animal Hospitals wants to save our clients time by offering the option to send in digital questions via photo and video. We have set the goal to respond to these questions within the day.

For example, if you think your cat might be sick and has been showing certain symptoms, or maybe your dog is hurt and you are not sure if it is serious or not, snap a quick photo or a short video with your smart phone, and send it over to us at [email protected] during clinic business hours. We will review to help you to determine if or how urgently you should schedule an appointment.

Can you imagine the types of photos arriving in our inbox? Ha! :D

We are excited and prepared to answer all of your questions! With everyone’s hectic schedules, this system has already saved our wonderful clients time and energy, provided peace of mind and allowed your LazyPaw Veterinary Medical Care Team the opportunity to aid in determining the next best steps in care of your furry friend, often without the unnecessary hassle of bringing them in each time a pet parent has a question or concern. Our client’s convenience is important, and your feedback is always welcome and appreciated!
