Phillips Creek is a new, state of the art facility featuring full diagnostics, surgery, imaging, and boarding. We will strive to be one of the best hospitals in the surrounding area by offering top notch customer service, a compassionate and friendly well-trained staff, and the best medical care available for your dog or cat--all in a modern and clean medical facility. As of December 2015, we are

now AAHA accredited! This means we had to meet and were personally inspected for over 900 standards of quality. Please read more about what AAHA is and represents at www.aaha.org. Dr. Tony Lopez, the owner, is a board certified specialist in canine and feline practice. There are only a handful of these specialists in the DFW area and it represents an extra level of medical and surgical expertise in taking care of your dog or cat. These practitioners have had to spend several additional years training and testing to qualify for board certification. More information about board certified specialists can be found here: http://www.abvp.com/specialists. Dr. Hull has 18 years of small animal practice experience. Dr. Hull and Dr. Lopez were classmates and offer a great team to help keep your loved one healthy! Dr. Pazora joined us in January 2020. He has worked as a veterinarian in the North Texas area for the past 18 years. Having been born and raised in this area, Dr. Pazora worked previously as an associate in the McKinney and Frisco areas before starting his own practice in Melissa, TX. Dr. Pazora grew his veterinary hospital into a successful 3 DVM practice and left the ownership role when he sold his practice in 2018. He looks forward to working alongside the great staff here at Phillips Creek Veterinary Hospital!

As we prepare for Thanksgiving, here are the top three tips to keep your furry friend safe and happy during the festivities:

1️⃣ Avoid Feeding Table Scraps: Foods like turkey skin, gravy, onions, garlic, and anything with seasoning can upset your dog’s stomach or even be toxic. Stick to dog-friendly treats only!

2️⃣ Watch Out for Bones: Turkey bones can splinter easily, posing serious choking hazards and risking internal injuries. Keep all bones out of reach.

3️⃣ Create a Quiet Space: With all the hustle and bustle, make sure your dog has a quiet, cozy space to retreat if they feel overwhelmed by guests or noise.

Wishing you and your pups a happy, safe Thanksgiving! 🐕🧡
