It’s our birthday and since our inception, we have not missed a beat! Proud of this rescue and what it’s done and become. #transportrescue
I can’t show off these puppies enough! Lucky to have survived, dumped by their owner, parvo positive. Saved by the monoclonal parvovirus injection. This video was taken shortly after the two most sickly (Nyla and Nolan) had been released from the hospital. All 5 puppies are now at an adoption event this weekend with PJ's Rescue our transport partner in MN.
New to rescue! Meet Mac & Cheese
Reposting this sweet girl Natasha! Enjoyed by her foster mom Thuy! And headed to her next chapter in Minnesota
Fostering saves lives! Otto was an accidental litter. He and his 5 other litter mates had outgrown the family home. And guess what? When their family contacted us that they had these 6 full grown puppies plus their two other dogs, their momma was pregnant with another batch of pups. We took care of those and Otto too. We still have 4 of Otto’s litter mates. They are now a little over 1 year old, lab mixes - want to foster for us so we can get them out of boarding?? Please comment or reach out to [email protected]
Cheers to your happily ever after, Olive!
Cheers to your happily ever-after, Olive!
Based on the information available, it's safe to assume that Wendell met with some unknown but stronger force (car most likely) one night and was left there to figure out how to survive with a very badly injured leg. Fast forward to when he was found by one of our lovely volunteers and rescued, that was when we realized how much help he actually needed. Wendell is on an orthopedic surgery journey to fix his back legs so he can be a strong dog again someday. He is going through cold laser treatments, and soon he will get to begin his heartworm treatment as well. Please remember to love your pet to the very end, and that means safe and healthy, as well as other standard ways to set your pet up for success. Big thanks to #LakeForestAnimalHospital & #MaziesMissionfor helping us see the road to recovery. ❤️🩹

Thank you for your support today, so far!!!! You all are heroes to us and to dogs like Rambo

Rambo was hit by a car and his progress through a chiropractor and water therapy are showing movement of his hind quarters. We are so thrilled. We continue to help everywhere we can, with your support.
Fostering is the key! Sometimes, the dog chooses YOU and this is one of those cases. I wasn't ready for another foster, but Sam needed someone with experience in muzzle work, decompression, crate and rotate, and proper introductions. I poured my entire heart into making her feel like a FAMILY MEMBER so she would not be another shelter statistic. She was already there once. So many people were in her corner, and I will never forget the day we had to say goodbye so she could find a forever home. We can't keep them all, or we wouldn't be able to foster. Sam, we love you! #fosteringsaveslives #belgianmalinois #shelterdog #passport4paws #twincitiespetrescue #togetherwesave #transportrescue #dallastx
Rambo update!
He is doing great, still working with a chiropractor DVM every week. Watch the subtle movement of his back legs. This is after being hit by a car and being paralyzed. This is HUGE and we are so excited for all the progress we have witness in him, his continuous will to persevere.
We’ve seen it before, so the question is, will this progress continue?
All of the unwanted dogs you see in the arms of our loving fosters, will never have to wind up in a shelter again. It is so important to enforce spays and neuters, help where you can, and in our case, get dogs out of this state whenever possible.
Shedding some light on our medical foster of the quarter. As a reminder, he came from a property with well over 10 unwanted dogs. last year we spayed and neutered all of them, vaccinated and HW tested, placed those who we could and did the same for the three that owner decided to keep.
Fast forward a few months and we got a call from owner that Rambo had run into the very busy county road and was paralyzed. It was sad, and it crushed us, knowing that we had met him, and had chosen to leave him there.
He is now with us and a HUGE thank you to Vicki and Brenda for managing such amazing care for him. He needs a lot of hands on help right now but he’s taken to his wheels very well.
He sees an amazing vet specialist, Dr. O, who is doing terrific things for Rambo. He gets chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture and more weekly with Dr. O. We continue to see progress and at this point, Rambo is not in any pain and daily pain medications have been able to be removed. We are hoping Rambo continues on this wonderful pathway. It’s still a long road ahead.
