Hi! We have so many messages about Luna’s new litter! They are all doing well!
Luna doesn’t like her kittens to be bothered…I weigh them in very quickly twice a day but it upsets her and I get those big paws on my hands every time I try to touch them…and so I try to take quick pics when I can!
I’m so excited for “High Black Smoke” babies! Boy on the left - girl on the right!

A sneak peak of Agatha's new litter...we will show you all of them this weekend after they have a bath!! They will be 6 weeks this Sunday and started eating wet food this week - they need baths!

These two are both smokes...a Poly Black Smoke boy and a Poly Blue Smoke girl...omg - they are so damn cute!!

How do you tell the difference? Black Smoke has black toe pads and is generally darker...Blue Smoke has pink toe pads and is a diluted form of Black Smoke. :) I love them both - one of my favorites!

Happy Friday, guys!! This gorgeous boy has been on hold for months...and he is 👀 for a new family again!

He has just turned 5 months old - he is a very large kitten...weighing in at 7.8 lbs. this morning! Beautiful bones...great square muzzle...great lynx tips...his mane is coming in lovely...and he has absolutely beautiful coloring! This is Ghost's (Gattacamoon I Have a Dream) first son...and so he is from shaded lines and has a wonderful high silver coat! Mom is our pretty Agatha from Gonsior lines...and so with that gene pool...he's sure to be a stunner - I really had a hard time letting go of any of this litter...:)

He is a spoiled baby...he is with his siblings and our family all day...he sleeps in our bed...and so I am looking for a family with other kitties that will treat him like family! He is very mellow and chill...he's affectionate, goofy, playful...he likes to cuddle and play...and as you can see - he likes to eat!

Wolfgang's last son is leaving us today! Wolfgang will be 6 in April and he is now retired...and to honor him his last son is going home to a shelter worker...for a reduced price...and 50% of that is a donation to our local shelter. I know Jason will be loved and cherished...he is such a sweet boy - he melts into you and purrs when you pick him up...and I will miss him so much!! He looks just like his papa!!

This was my first Maine C**n breeding project...and I was so lucky to start with Wolfgang! Wolfgang has an amazing pedigree...his father came from Heart Stealer in Hungary and his mother is from Wild Beauty C***s in Russia...and he is absolutely everything I would want in a Maine C**n stud!

We have not kept any of his boys...and I am retiring his line...but Susan Barrett in Tennessee is starting her own line with one of his best daughters...our sweet "Ewok"...who is now Purrcilla! We will share updates with you...and I can't wait to see new kittens from this line! Susan is a Maine C**n lover and the only person I have offered breeding rights...and I can't wait to see babies from her cattery!

So...we have a litter announcement...and unfortunately Agatha is the mama again! This was an accident...and it just can happen so easily and quickly - my husband heard a loud crashing noise in the middle of the night...woke up to investigate...the cats had knocked some stuff off of a cabinet in the kitchen and there was broken glass and so he cleaned that up...and when he went back to bed he didn't realize that Bruce came through the door with him as it was dark. We realized Bruce was in the room the next morning...

We did not witness a mating...but several weeks later we knew there had been one. And so now we have confined boys to the bottom level of the house and the girls to the top...with a locked door between them...and then we switch that every 12 hours or so...so that the boys are not secluded from family life.

And so that's the difficult news. It's not what we wanted...I've never had this happen before...but Agatha is healthy and at a great weight and she had another beautiful litter...and of course we want to share pics with you!

The babies are healthy - all 7 of them! 6 girls and one boy! They are just gorgeous!

Hi Friends!! I am sharing a message from "the cat guy" just FYI...

I am absolutely an advocate for a raw diet...but right now - you need to cook any poultry products to a safe temperature of 165F or use canned products only. High Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) has been confirmed in commercial raw food...and these companies have affirmed that they have sourced the meat from USDA inspected poultry farms...so until we have a clearer picture of this situation - it is better to be safe.

So - to be clear - meat purchased at the grocery store or from a butcher is not safe for cats to eat right now. We just don't know...

Also - this doesn't only affect cats consuming raw food - it is recommended to keep your kitties indoors or in protected areas like screened patios, porches, etc. so that access to wild birds is limited.

I stopped feeding raw chicken a couple of weeks ago - my kitties do not love cooked chicken...but I have mucked around in the kitchen and come up with a recipe that they will tolerate...

A couple of tips if you are converting from raw to cooked -

-baking or roasting is preferable to boiling or simmering as the meat retains more essential nutrients (per cat info.org)

-my cats prefer the roasted meat. You use all of the pan juices...and you add supplements after the cooking process

-eggs and organ meats from poultry need to be cooked to 165F as well - this temperature has been proven to kill the virus

Our sweet Jason had a Valentine's Day Love Connection!! He is going home!

It's a sweet story - we had a message from someone that works at the spay/nueter clinic that met this litter when they went in for their procedures...and she said she fell in love with the litter! She has another kitty...she has a couple of dogs that go in to work with her...and this was the home I was looking for!!

I can't wait until Jason meets his new Mom!

Hello! Somehow...I still have this gorgeous boy - and he's ready to meet his family! If that could be you - send me a note and we'll talk about it! Since Jason got to stay with us a few extra weeks...we have gotten to know him very well! He is my husband's favorite of the litter because "He is so chill..." :)

Jason is a blue silver bi-color...he is a huge, hefty boy...his mane is coming in nicely...he has excellent lynx tips! And...he is an absolute doll! He is a very laid back kitty - he likes snacks, naps, and cuddles!

Princess Tula arrived today - all the way from the Czech Republic! We had an excellent transporter...she flew in cabin and he sent us pictures and updates during her flight - it was perfect!

THIS is the best part of breeding - adding a Glamour Kitty to our cattery! This is also why I don't make any profit...lol!

We are excited to introduce you to Princess Tula...lots of pics coming!
