It's HOT dog!
Please watch out for your pets during this dangerous heat wave! Avoid walking, especially on pavement/sidewalks as it can burn their feet.
If your pet has an underlying health condition (such as heart disease or asthma) they should not spend any time outdoors other than going to the bathroom.
The same goes for senior pets, puppies/kittens, or "short nosed" breeds such as Frenchies, Pugs, Boxers, etc as they cannot compensate for the high heat and humidity and can easily overheat and get heatstroke.
Stay safe, stay cool, and hope for rain!

Just an FYI, BrightSpeed is at it again! Our phones are on the fritz, we are able to get phone calls for now but we are down to just one phone. We are in the midst of changing our service so hopefully this will not be a problem for long! We apologize for any inconvenience!

Hi everyone!
Kayla, a college student who is helping at our clinic over the summer, is organizing a donation box for our local Humane Society! Her message is below -

The Humane Society of Warren County is at full capacity and in desperate need. Please, if you can, drop off some goodies for our furry friends.
We will be accepting unopened dog and cat food (adult or puppy/kitten) of any brand - wet or dry, dog and cat treats, unopened cat litter, cat and dog toys, gently used blankets and towels, cleaning supplies (such as laundry detergent, bleach, etc), and puppy pads.
Thank you for your consideration of supporting the shelter. Please remember that the shelter is primarily run by donation only.
Our drop off box will be located on our front porch during office hours through the month of July

Happy AAHA - Accredited Hospital Day!

Accreditation is required for human hospitals but voluntary for animal hospitals.
Only about 15% of animal hospitals in the U.S. and Canada are accredited by AAHA, and weā€™re proud to say that weā€™re one of them!

Thank you to all our clients and patients who have supported us through the years, we are happy to count you all as part of our family ā¤ļø
