We know it’s scary when your pet is hurt or acting strange. How do you decide if it’s an emergency? Does your pet have any of these signs or symptoms:

🚨 Upset stomach including vomiting/diarrhea
🚨 Blood in urine
🚨 Seizures
🚨 Large wounds
🚨 Difficulty walking
🚨 Signals of pain such as excessive meowing or whining, shaking, or hiding

Ultimately, you know your pet best. If you’re concerned, we’re concerned. The Animal ER of the Western Slope is open & fully staffed 6pm-8am Tuesday through Thursday & 24 hours a day from Friday night at 6pm through Tuesday morning at 8am if your pet is injured or sick or just has you worried. Our dedicated team is ready to help your pet feel better & help you, our clients, feel more at ease.

Animal ER of the Western Slope has great respect for the Mesa County Animal Services & have a wonderful relationship with them. We have heard that they are in need of food for the shelter & we want to help out!
From now until July 26th, we are offering 10% off our exam fee for your pet if you bring in a 10 # bag (or more) of dog or cat food. And at the end of the 10 days, we will match the amount we collect! Let’s help out this amazing service in our area for homeless pets!

We want to wish all of our amazing clients & referring veterinary staff a safe & happy 4th of July. The Animal ER of the Western Slope will open tonight, July 3rd, at 6pm & remain open & fully staffed 24 hours a day through Tuesday July 9th at 8am, should you need veterinary care for your 4-legged friends. Reminder, the Animal ER of the Western Slope will open tonight at 6pm & remain open 24 hours a day until Tuesday at 8am. We have staffed our hospital with extra doctors & support staff to make sure your pet receives the very best care should they need medical attention over the long holiday weekend.
