WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 6: LABRADOR RETRIEVER/LAB MIX DAY

An exclusive day of grooming for dogs of this breed/mix

Price? $50-$60
What's it gonna take? Deshed bath ×2, blow drying, nail trim/nail file, clean ears, trim hair under paws, full body brushout with best brush for your dog's coat
Why should I do this for my short hair pet? Fall prep grooming for short hair dogs is SO IMPORTANT and I don't think stressed enough, grooming helps open the pores to help keep the skin and coat clean removing buildup you may not know be occurring, unfortunately with winter around the corner dogs will be more susceptible to yeast infections, skin inflammation and redness due to poor circulation amongst the hair follicles. You're doing your dog the best favor getting them a good thorough grooming before winter to help keep them healthy and happy

If you have a lab that looks like the one pictured below (with the EXTREMELY glossy and shiny coat, give me a call and let's talk about dogs 🤞🏼🐕)

In an effort to reach more customers/clients I've been pondering on extending my hours. 1pm-9pm Monday - Thursday instead of the 1pm-6pm, thoughts? Adding walk-in nail trims during the hours of 5pm-9pm?

I'm not much of a morning person so you'd never see me getting here at 6 or 7 am😅 (the morning is reserved for homeschooling anyhow) however I know all to well about last minute things and people who just have too busy of a day to get anywhere and their dogs suffer from it in the grooming area as not a lot of us are open "unordinary" hours. Sundays will continue to be exclusive to one on one appointments and those who just can't do a weekday.

We're open till 2pm today, I'm changing nail trims a small touch, Saturdays ONLY will be open to walk ins for nail trims still $10 for nail trimming, $15 for nail trim and file (CARD ONLY, IF CASH EXACT CHANGE IS APPRECIATED)

Good morning to all, the Brighthouse will be open 11 - 3 today

Needing to get your pet in for grooming? Give a call or text and we can happily set up an appointment!

I'd like to also take time to make a small reminder....I charge my worth here and charge what I feel is necessary and fair not only to the client, but, also what I need to pay my bills and live day to day, my grooms nowadays begin at the $45 mark and go up vastly from there no matter how big or small the dog is the only exception made is for short hair Chihuahuas, doxies, or pets like them...have a long hair or big dog? Expect more. No matter where you go. $45 mark for the area and myself personally is still a heavy undervalue but, I don't ripoff people either, I stay honest and true to what I estimate, and there are many factors that determine that...I don't "just wash dogs" as many people may think. It's still my livelihood at the end of the day. Interested in finding someone that charges less, there are few and far between nowadays and if they do their work and attitude shows for it. I used to be there and undercharging yourself for the pleasure of others simply "coming back" is not how grooming should work.

With that being said give a call or text for grooming, for appointments are not available until next week sometime

Our website once concluded will have a special discounts pages for those looking to relieve themselves for one or two appointments, this page was up for a long time under All Star and people did utilize it, once relooked at, and reinvented the discounts page will still be there!

I spent the day today grooming a Newfoundland on someone's back porch, no pictures but, he's in much better shape than he was! 😁😆🤕
Then Shanya and I went out to see the Budweiser Clydesdales at Hampton Farms in Fruitport!!

It was a great event, and experience, something I've wanted to do and horses I've wanted to see since a child. Granted, these horses are now grandsons and granddaughters of the horses I seen way back when, however, they still have the same mission of bringing joy to people and reminding us how preserving history creates education and happiness for generations to come.

Budweiser, keep the history going!
