Today is International Day of Veterinary Medicine. On this day we celebrate the hardworking and dedicated individuals who provide medical care to our pets around the world. Thank you to all the veterinarians out there for your heartfelt and tireless work to keep our pets healthy and happy. Here’s to a day of celebration and appreciation for the wonderful world of veterinary medicine. And a very special thank you to all our doctors: Dr. Suh, Dr. Hong, Dr. Saija, Dr. Park, Dr. Yoon, Dr. Hopkins, Dr. Short and Dr. Smith. Without the support of our dependable hardworking nursing staff, always making sure our patients and clients are always comfortable.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!! We are grateful to have amazing clients, staff and the best pet patients we can ask for!
As the holidays approached we just wanted to give a quick reminder about the importance of having your pet being safe during the holidays. As most of us are hosting a thanksgiving dinner please be alert when prepping the holiday meal, laying food out on the table and intermingling with guests to ensure your pets don’t sneak a bite while you’re distracted. Ask guests to refrain from feeding food from the table to your pets. High fat foods in particular can cause health problems for your pets.

In case of emergency
Identify your closest 24/7 emergency veterinary clinic before an emergency occurs.
Research your pet hospital or clinic’s holiday hours.
Store important contact numbers in your phone and post them somewhere in your home that won’t be forgotten or overlooked: The number for your veterinarian or pet hospital, as well as the number of the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center (888-426-4435).

Slab fracture with exposed pulp in 108tooth aka woof tooth aka carnassial tooth. The carnassial teeth are 3 rooted and designed to cut and shear meat. The damage to this tooth 🦷 resulted in an extraction. She can still enjoy and eat all types of food. Avoid giving bones to your dog as it may cause injury like this.

This sweet girl, 14 week old Belgian Shepherd mix, was rescued by one of our nurses from terrible living conditions. We are currently fostering her, but are looking for a permanent home. She is shy, but lights up when treats are involved. She’s very smart and is doing well with potty training and leash training.
