Jazzie saw the cardiologist today.

All great news! The specialist told me that her mitral valve defect is so trivial that another echocardiogram may not be necessary for at least a few years. Recommended yearly x-rays and BNP bloodwork to monitor heart instead.

It is a B1, which is ‘an audible murmur with regurgitation detectable on echocardiogram, but the heart is otherwise structurally normal’.

And of course, everyone there loved her 😍

So a few days before Thanksgiving, we took Jazzie to Century City for a DOPL session. They use 87 cameras to take every part of a person, pet, or whatever. I just received Jazzie's figurine today 😀

I love my clients. I love it even more when they leave little notes for me, and I’ve saved most of them over the years. This particular client tend to draw little paws on envelopes containing their invoices (some more elaborate than others).

Jazzie saw a cardiologist today to recheck her echocardiogram. She was diagnosed with a mitral valve defect a couple of years ago by a radiologist. The cardiologist today said there was no progression, and he suspects that the thickening of her mitral valves is just something she always had! 😅

Her next echo will be in 12-18months, which 'should' (hopefully) confirm today's results! 😀

So happy my Jazzie is healthy 😍...for now, anyways!

When you acquire a dog that requires a lot of grooming, please do so regularly. Today I worked many hours on this little maltese. When a dog get this matted, it could cause skin sores and infections. I'm glad the owners cared enough to seek my help ❤
