The bees have been “busy bees” and the chickens are enjoying the cooler temperatures lately. We have eggs and local honey for sale.

Bruce and I are going on a mission trip to Guatemala in June (16-21). We ask you keep us in your prayers for a safe trip. If it's something that touches your heart, we'd welcome your donations to off set the trip. We ask this to have you invested with us on the mission, not to help us pay for the trip. We pledge that any funds you donate via this page to offset our costs will be given to Living Water's mission by Bruce and I. Thanks for keeping us in your prayers during this time.

Why Triple R?

When we bought the property there were lots of things to clean up. We wanted to use what we could, recycle or re-purpose what we could, and thus the name Triple R (Reuse, Recycle, Re-purpose). We have rebuilt our out building from recycled wood, metal, and fencing, keeping the machinery, workshop, and chickens dry and safe. We used the concrete test blocks that were left on the property as edging around our landscape, garden, and the chicken run. And, we have recycled enough old metal to pay for the required new roof on the machine shed.

Our chickens live in their own section of the remodeled stable. They have a warm/cool coop and a summer kitchen to keep them shaded and cooled with a fan for breeze. They love grass clippings, weeds, veggies and fruit, cracked corn, and meal worms. Our eggs are rinsed off if soiled, but never cleaned to required refrigeration. They can be stored on your counter at room temperature for weeks.
