Hello, unfortunately this page is going to become inactive. We are no longer the dog control for volney after the adoption of simba the town decided to let us go. We would like to thank every one of you for making this group so successful, sharing posts to help us return lost dogs and spreading the word when we needed adoptions. We are very grateful for what you helped us do!

Simba update!
First off thank you all so much for all the shares, likes, meet ups, vet care and support from rescues on simba! We are proud to say that we have found a forever home for him because of all your help sharing his story! His new family has plenty of experience with the pit bull breed and is no doubt going to give him the loving home life he deserves! Thank you A for opening up your home and heart to our favorite smiling boy!
🤎Remember there are so many more cases like simba in our area I pray this will lead more of you to reach out to your local shelters & rescues to volunteer,donate or adopt!

Update on our boy Simba! Good news we have two rescues willing to help if by tomorrow we don’t find him a forever home. (Which is the goal for both us and rescues is to find a forever home) We have two more meet and greets tomorrow to hopefully place him in a forever home if those do not work out recycle a bull and Oswego spca have both offered to take him. They will be finding fosters for him! 🤎Thank you all for the shares and likes messages and calls! Thank you to everyone interested and helping us with simba! He is such a good boy and none of this would’ve been possible without you!

We are running out of time finding a home for Simba, he has been in the kennel since April he is so ready for a home great walking companion dog! Please if you know of a kennel who has an opening or someone looking to adopt share this with everyone. He is too good of a dog!

Simba has had a rough start, he was very skinny living in poor conditions but look at him now happy as a clam and waiting for a home!

This fella is looking for a forever home! He is a great boy, about 2yrs old loves walks and playing fetch! Gets along well with other dogs and kids. Gets a little excited at first but only takes a moment to settle! Please contact us through here on messenger. We will be setting up meet and greets with him and will be choosing carefully his home.

Truly amazed at the dedication Gatekeeper K9 Rescue puts into lost dogs!! Sydney has been on the loose since July 29th and with the public’s help in sightings he has finally been able to catch her!!
