A bittersweet day as I send Adrian off to her new family❤️ I’m so glad I had the pleasure of boarding and training this girl and setting up the success she needed for her new home! This definitely won’t be the last time you see her, as she’s in the family and will be boarding with me once in a while. So proud , go Adrian!🥹

Adrian is a new addition to my aunts family, she’s here boarding with me for 1 week and we’ll be working on a few things while she’s here ! 🦮
- Jumping
- Leash skills
- Staying off furniture

I’m so thankful for their trust in me to start this journey with them. This dog will be the perfect match for their active family lifestyle ❤️

Everyone welcome Dakota to our training program🐕‍🦺 Dakota is an 11 week old coonhound mix puppy who’s here learning basic obedience, we’re creating structure with his older dog sibling, and figuring out healthy ways to mentally and physically fulfill this little guy.
I’m so happy to be working with this boy and his family, they truly want what’s best for him and I’m so glad to be apart of their journey !❤️🐾

Simple ingredient enrichment for these hot summer days ☀️🐾 ingredients below📝:

🐶Dog Bone Broth Powder

🐶Organic, nonfat, plan Greek Yogurt

🐶Peanut Butter (NO xylitol)

🐶Choice of treats (I used training treats & Raw meal toppers!)

🐶Lick Mat, Lick Bowl, Toppl, Kong, or even the edges of a regular dog bowl !

🐶 Freeze & let your pup enjoy ! 🧊

Ivy

Ivy and her mom took on County Max without me this week ! 💪🏻 Ivy is killin it with her long down-stay in distractive environments.🐕‍🦺 As much as I love working with my clients , it’s even better seeing them thrive on their own, reaching their goals and being a confident handler for their dog. Truly beautiful and heartwarming to see the puzzle pieces all come together 🧩

Tug with Cash !

Teaching CASH a fair game of tug ! 💰🐾 We’ve gotta work on his drop it command while doing this exercise but showing him what it’s all about and getting him to engage with the toy and handler was the first step. 🎾This is a great engagement and relationship building exercise. Keep a tug toy available that you only use while interacting with your dog (meaning the toy is not for free time use). This teaches your dog the specific toy is only fun when their handler is on the other end of it. You can practice basic obedience in between to make training fun and motivating for your dog. Teaching ‘out’ or ‘drop it’ in the middle of playing tug is a great way to build impulse control and to develop a good on and off switch with your dog! And don’t forget to give them easy wins so they enjoy the game and come back for more !🐾

Ivy and her mom absolutely crushing it in new environments ! New places can be a little triggering for Ivy, so we really made sure to keep tension off of the leash, create space from triggers, and work through them in the best way we can using all the tools in our belt. So proud of this girl and can’t wait for our next session !🐕‍🦺❤️

Bath Time 🛁 working on making baths a more positive experience 🐾

Who remembers this sweet girl?🐾It’s been a minute since I’ve seen Willow and her family so we went through a quick refresher for everyone and got started on our 2nd lesson! Since I last saw her, the family have taken it upon themselves to teach her some well needed skills that are going to help us in the long run of our training program ! 💖 we will continue to work on the basics to set this little nugget up for the utmost success!😍
