What have we learned about Beth, our gorgeous smoky gray girl? Well we can tell you if you are looking for a best friend here she is! One of the MOST affectionate cats we have seen in quite awhile this beauty is ready to jump up when you come home, follow you around patiently waiting for you to sit and snuggle through a cold winter night. Recently sprung from the shelter where she has spent months waiting to give all her love and affection to someone special. Meet the new older guy on the block...entered foster care with us today. Having been abandoned by people some kind folks stepped up and got him vetted. Meet Jamison Parker aka Jamison Barker...a 10 year old male beagle who is looking for his furrever home!

Jamison is neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is eligible for our senior to senior program. Don't sleep on this guy as he will make a wonderful friend!

Update on our pet food pantry. To get established at the pantry must come on a Wednesday or Thursday night 6-8pm at our office.

2025 Food Pantry Qualification Guidelines to get Monthly Food Assistance

• Owner is low income or senior as per below:
o Over 65
o Getting SNAP or HEAP
o Permanently disabled
o Getting WIC or Free Lunches for Kids
o Section 8 Housing
o Receiving unemployment benefits
• Caring for a feral community
• Animals are spayed/neutered or on list at spay clinic that can be verified
• Animal is up to date on rabies (not required but recommended as NY State Law)

The Oswego County SPCA is dedicated to ending overpopulation of animals and therefore to receive monthly food for your pet all pets in household must be spayed/neutered or must be on the waitlist to get spayed/neutered with a local clinic. Proof of this is required.

***If pets are not spayed/neutered owner can receive a once-a-year handout of food.***

All offers of pet food assistance are still assessed on a case-by-case basis -please come speak with us to see if we can help!

Meet Charlie, a 1 year old neutered male lab mix who is looking for the lab lover out there who understands the breed. Charlie was adopted out as a puppy through our organization and now the owners no longer feel he is the dog for their family. Charlie, like any lab or lab mix is essentially ALLLLL puppy for a couple more years. Charlie is not currently crated during the day and does have anxiety about it as he came from a situation as a puppy where he was crated 24/7 so does get stressed being crated. Charlie needs ACTIVE folks, a fenced yard or both! He is currently in a home with small children and is amazing. He loves other dogs and would make a great buddy for another dog as he likes to play. He is known to chase cats out of curiosity (typical lab stuff!) but has never hurt one.

Dang, Yellowstone gang is rolling into town! Recently sprung from the shelter and getting a first taste of freedom this group is looking for a new ranch to settle into. And the first one up is (of course she is) BETH! That big sister who is ready to be out on her own and away from all those pesky boys. This slender smoky girl is about 10 months old and unlike her TV namesake she is the sweetest girl. She is making some friends with foster siblings and loves to look for some attention. B-B-Benny & the Jets) Too frightened to come out from under the sofa at first he has blossomed into a brave boy who loves to run and tackle his foster brother just like that other famous Jet, Quinnen Williams!
