Today there will be a Kitten Romper Room event at Pawsitivitea Cafe 2100 Park Street in Syracuse. Stop over to meet 3 of our most adorable kittens ready for their forever homes. Our little calico warrior princess is Diana, Yukon is our snowy white rescue, and Tillie is the most perfect tiger boy you will fall in love with immediately. Starting at noon today

Hi everyone thank you all that came to the United Way craft fair at the Elks today in Oswego. We had a customer I believe she saud her name was Janice purchase some items. She ask us to hold for her while she finished walking around to other vendors. She never came back to get. We have it at the thrift store and can pick up there. Hopefully she messages our page. (Some of the things are for her 9 month old granddaughter.

Save the date for our best ever annual fundraiser! The money raised will help us to provide critical care for abandoned and rescued animals through the harsh winter. Our beautiful boy Edgar was found with his sister under a shed and now they have gone together to an amazing home filled with love. Just one of hundreds of succcess stories we see each year. Please come out and help us continue our mission to improve animal welfare in our community.

It is with a heavy heart, that we have to let everyone know that Darla succumbed to her internal injuries. Everyone here, including her foster are devastated. Thank you to all of your generosity, Darla was able to get the best possible care, which included her medical care -initial emergency veterinary costs and diagnostics. Thanks to the extraordinary care she received she passed in a warm and loving environment not outside cold and alone.

Again, thank you and we know all of our wonderful supporters are sharing in our grief today as like everyone else we were hopeful she would survive.

This morning we were called by law enforcement to respond regarding cat hit by a car. We responded immediately and rushed the poor kitty who was dragging her back leg to the vet. Upon exam it was determined she has a broken femur and pelvis. We are hopeful that with cage rest she will recover. However the next 10-14 days are key in confirming she has no internal injuries as current she is so bruised by the trauma of the impact it is difficult to tell. Thru it all Darla, as we have named her, has purred. She knows she is safe and surrounded by love!

Darla is our 321st intake this year (since 1/1/2024).

We know many of you are on our wait list to come into foster, we see you and we continue to work as hard as we can to get as many off the street as quick as we can.

We want to thank Fruit Valley Vet Clinic for their kindness and assistance today for Darla.

We are going to post a donation link as at this time of year funds are low. Even $2 makes a difference.

Just in from a donor for our Meowy Christmas Auction! Mackenzie Childs Christmas Train door mat! If you have a new item you would like to donate (maybe even a gift that did not quite fit your style) please consider this a very worthy cause. Any items big or small are needed so we can make this our biggest fundraiser for the year. Every penny we raise from our event on December 14th will go to support the rescued animals in our care through the harsh winter months. SAVE THE DATE SATURDAY DECEMBER 14TH STARTING AT 11am ANNUAL HOLIDAY SILENT AUCTION! Why are we having this event? Take a look at Stone (aka Stone Cold Steve Austin) a young cat who came to us with a severe chemical burn. You see him here at that first vet visit (with the clever bandage from his doctor) and his after photo with his now forever family. Stone went to one of our most experienced foster mom's where he received one-on-one care every day to work through the healing process. His vet bills, medications and food all paid for with the funds we are able to raise from events just like our upcoming silent auction. So we plead with you to stop in and bid an item, or buy a few raffle tickets or even drop a dollar in our collection jar because every penny goes to support our mission to improve animal welfare in our community

These two are a bonded pair, and we’ve given you their story many times now. They aren’t getting the adoption attention that they need and deserve…so we’re hoping that a café-goer will see them and fall in love!

Our adoption process is the same as it’d be if you were adopting a kitty from foster: but what an awesome chance to see “the girls” in action, and support a small business as well. They can’t wait to see you! 🐈‍⬛🐈
