We are located in the Rockport-Fulton, Texas area on the Gulf Coast. Our facility is located on 3.5 acres with lots of beautiful oak trees that provide wonderful shade for all our animals. Hours of Operation:Tues-Thurs 10am-2pm, Fri, Sat 10am-4pm. Closed Monday.

Happy Friday everyone! Tiffany and Heather are enjoying the sun today. These sisters have been at our facility for 332 days. They are over a year old and the sweetest pups. They love meeting new people and giving kisses. They’ve been to a few events with us and did great with kids. They are potty trained and very easygoing dogs. Maple 🐶- Hiya! I’m Maple and I’m a beautiful and confident gal. She’s as sweet as maple syrup and as strong as a bull. She’s not cat-friendly and will probably do best as an only dog. She loves meeting new people and loves attention. She loves giving hugs and would love to be your new best friend! She’s been here with us for 395 days waiting for a home!

Soho 🐱- Hi I’m laid back girl that’s been here at the humane society for 6 years now! I keep to myself and only recently started being social with other cats. We are now hiring for a cattery tech and kennel tech at our facility! We are looking for a passionate person to come in and dive into the job.
The Cattery job includes but is not limited to
•Scooping and cleaning from top to bottom in all three Catteries
• Deep cleaning once a week
• Putting away laundry and replacing soiled linen.
• General animal husbandry
• Loving every cat and doing daily health checks

The kennel tech job includes but is not limited to
• Feeding dogs
•Cleaning kennels
•Deep cleaning kennels
•Cleaning water bowls and refilling them
•Walking dogs
•Putting dogs in outside kennels and managing them
•General Animal husbandry

Previous experience is a plus but we are willing to train. Please feel free to come in during business hours to fill out an application in person and talk with us. We are here from 10-2 Tuesday-Thursday and Friday and Saturday from 10-4. We look forward to meeting you!!

They have the sweetest demeanor and they are all ready to learn. These pups get along great with other dogs and they have met and kissed lots of kids' faces! TINA TURNER 💙

This past weekend we had some amazing volunteers take Tina Turner out for a little adventure! Tina even got to go to the beach for the first time and she had a blast meeting new people. It’s so good for the dogs to get out of the shelter even for a few hours. Tina is a beautiful husky who loves being the center of attention and gets along great with new people. She’s been at our facility for 2 years and 7 months waiting for a home! She’s smart silly and loves leash walks. She’s full of personality and loves to go on adventures. Tina is almost 6 years old and would love to be your new best friend.

Howdy folks, happy holidays to you and your family! Thursday we will be closed for Thanksgiving but we would like to welcome volunteers to come out and help pass out bowls and hang out with the animals from 8-10am. Our staff usually cooks a special dog-friendly meal and it would mean the world to some of our pups to have company while they eat or a nice walk after. Our Story

We are located in the Rockport-Fulton, Texas area on the Gulf Coast. Our facility is located on 3.5 acres with lots of beautiful oak trees that provide wonderful shade for all our animals. Hours of Operation:Tues-Thursday 10am-2pm, Friday and Sat 10am - 4pm. Closed Sunday and Monday.

Rockport-Fulton Humane Society Adoption Center is dedicated to saving the lives of dogs and cats in Aransas County. For over 30 years all of our resources and efforts have been solely used in Aransas County to help save the lives of dogs and cats and find them loving homes. Because we are a "No Kill" shelter, we depend on the participation of county residents to help us fulfill our mission. As you may know the supply of surrendered, abandoned and stray pets is a never ending, constant flow. Thankfully we have been able to rescue and re-home a significant portion of these animals with your help and support.

We accomplish this with the help of a small professional staff and a number of passionate community volunteers. Funding comes from local donations and grants.

Our expenses include our facility on Myrtle Street, a lean payroll and expenses such as veterinary care, food, bedding and other necessities. There is always more to do than available people power and funds can accommodate. This isn't a complaint, it's a reality and an opportunity for you to personally make a big difference even with a small contribution of time or money.
