Good evening 5-Points Family! If your dog meets the following requirements, please consider reaching out to VEG in Cary to save a life! ❤️

Dog blood donors must meet the following criteria:
• Be friendly; have a good temperament
• Between 1 and 8 years old
• Spayed or neutered
• Up to date on vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Lepto)
• On monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventative
• In good physical condition
• Weigh 55 lbs or more
• No history of transfusions, heart murmur, or cardiac disease
• No prior reactions or complications to sedation
• Must pass exam by a VEG doctor (at no cost to you)
• Test negative for infectious diseases

Hello all! We are collecting donations for the SPCA of Wake County this holiday season! Stop by our office anytime during regular business hours with your donations. We will be collecting through the holidays. Any food items should be unopened and not expired. Some examples of donation items are:

Dry food bags
Canned food
Treats
Blankets/towels
Beds
Toys
P*e pads
Leashes/collars/harnesses
Crates/carriers
Litter/litterboxes

Sometimes, a boarding facility is not a good fit for your dog(s). Whether it be a young puppy that isn’t fully vaccinated yet, an older dog who needs daily medications, a sensitive pup that would thrive in a home environment rather than a kennel, or maybe your local boarding facility is simply booked! A few of our staff members also do pet sitting and would love to help! We have staff members who do boarding in their home, drop in visits, and/or staying at your home. You can send an email with your pet’s information and requested dates to [email protected] and an available staff member will reach out to finalize details.
